I have the Ariete Cafe Prestige espresso machine, which has a pretty short steam wand. This frothing pitcher is wide and short, allowing the wand to get all the way down to the bottom.
Great with the Rattleware thermometer - Review written on June 10, 2008

I use this Frothing Pitcher with my Francis Francis X3 and it fits ok. I use it with the Rattleware 5-Inch Easy Steam Thermometer (also sold here in Amazon). I beleive they get along fine, but not great though, I would have like to find a slightly smaller Frothing Pitcher with a correspondingly smaller thermometer, but this is only because the Francis Francis X3 has a very small space for Frothing.
With this frothing pitcher you can produce enough milk for two italian capuccino cups (notice that an italian capuccino cup uses around %60 of the milk you would use in a regular size coffee cup)
Must have for Espresso Machine - Review written on May 31, 2008

A must have. Should have come with the krups machine. but is the perfect height to fit under the steamer, and get this one,so there's room for your milk to expand and froth.
perfect size for lattes, etc - Review written on May 17, 2008

A well made and perfectly sized frothing pitcher (24 oz would have been even better). I like the fact that the pitcher is wider versus taller, this makes using it with my frothing wand easier.

Bought this pitcher for my husband; he needed a larger one than the one that came with the espresso machine; works great; no more overflow spills on my counter; would purchase again; good buy!
a great buy - Review written on April 25, 2008

I own the Krups FND111 Allegro Espresso Maker and bought this to make frothing milk a little bit easier. It works perfect with my espresso machine since the froth spout just reaches the bottom of this pitcher. A nice contour and relieves burning your fingers with the long arched handle. Easy to clean too.

Good Pitcher - Review written on March 31, 2008

Goes ok with SAECO Aroma and because of it's size you can pour easily either the steamed milk or the frothed milk, to make a good looking capuccino.
What could go wrong? - Review written on March 19, 2008
Rating: 4 out of 5
It's got to be pretty easy to design a frothing pitcher. How hard can it be? Not hard, and that is why I have to knock it for the handle. It is too angular, creating an uncomfortable surface while holding the pitcher.
Pretty minor complaint. Other than that it works fine, good size, light weight, cleans up easily.
wide and short - Review written on March 03, 2008

The item is wide and short. The width allows for increased volume, while the height allows for clearance to slide it under my Saeco Aroma steamer/water spout.
Good product, but quite LARGE - Review written on February 28, 2008

This product is inexpensive and well constructed.
But I think I did a mistake my not purchasing a smaller pitcher. I have a Mc Coffee machine that makes a decent cappuccino and I needed a pitcher such as this one. Unfortunately, I did not notice that the size of this pitcher was too large given the length of the steamer in my coffee machine. I am the only one who drinks coffee in my household, so I usually need only a small quantity of milk for my cappuccino. But then I found out that if I use the quantity of milk I usually need, the steamer does not even touch the milk, because the pitcher is too deep.
So, I would recommend this pitcher highly if you routinely prepare at least two cappuccinos, but otherwise you may want to check carefully the size of both the pitcher and the steamer in your coffee machine before buying this product.
Exactly what I ordered! - Review written on February 28, 2008

This frothing pitcher is nicely made. It is exactly what the discription says. Is a little big for my expresso/cappucino machine but would be great for a full size machine.

Great value! I bought an espresso/capuccino maker, but it didn't come with a frothing pitcher, so I bought this one. It's perfect! Great froth for my caps or lattes!

Great little pitcher - Review written on January 31, 2008

Bought this a few years ago from Amazon and it has served me well. When not using it for frothing, I use it as a general pitcher for milk, tea etc. Works great since it lets me stay far away from the steam and looks great too.

I purchased this to go with my new espresso maker. It's the perfect size for frothing milk....looks nice as well
Does a great job and looks good too! - Review written on January 22, 2008

I have to agree that this pitcher does a great job. I love the open handle as opposed to the closed ones. Easier to navigate when frothing. It's a nice weight and it looks like I spent triple the money. Best price I've found and yet it isn't cheaply made.

This is an awesome pitcher to steam milk in if you have an espresso machine it does a great job and heats up quickly because the stainless steel retains and evenly distributes the heat, also if your espresso machine is like mine then you know that its hard to get a cup under the steam wand but this slips right under it, also you can easily burn your finger using a regular mug but with this pitcher the handle is far enough away that there is no issue while holding onto it. 20 oz is plenty to make 2 lattes if your putting them in average size mugs. I also recommend buying a frothing thermometer so that you do not scold your milk, or if you have a thermometer the prime temperature is around 160-170 degrees Fahrenheit. Remember that this pitcher is pretty short but it holds a lot because it has a large diameter, and you cannot beat the price of 7.99 and free shipping especially if your an amazon prime member just click 2 day 1-click
