Very nice watch, very poor instructions - Review written on April 02, 2007

My experience with this watch was like bonmot's with the blue-dial version: the watch itself is very nice, especially for the price (more so considering that I got it as a Gold Box special), and surprisingly heavy (not unpleasantly so). However, the one-book-fits-all instruction manual doesn't really help much, and on top of that, the additional size makes the manual difficult to wedge back into the top of the case once you're done with it.
The text on the smaller crowns is rather small, so if your eyes are aging like mine, you may find yourself struggling a bit to find the right distance at which to hold your wrist in order to read them, but it's not much of an inconvenience. After all, it should be safe to assume that if you want to determine the day of the week from your watch, you're either simply curious, or you're in such a spot as to have the time to examine it closely.
I would recommend this watch to others - just remember that you advance the day of the week by advancing the time.
