This is my second invicta watch and I can only say that the quality and workmanship puts it way above most watches, short of a rolex would you find an equal product.

very attractive watch but like other reviews I found that the buttons are easily pressed while wearing often making the date and time inaccurate.

I bought this watch for my husband and he just loves it. It is a beautiful watch and he gets many compliments on it. Better yet, it was very reasonably priced...which made me very happy!
Thank you,
Denise
Very nice looking but of deplorable quality. Would be great if it actually had a Swiss Movement and if it actually worked. - Review written on September 04, 2007

I already owned 3 Invicta watches purchased from a local jeweler (2 Lupahs and a Dragon Lupah) prior to purchasing this from Amazon. This watch is a huge disappointment. The Lupahs all have true Swiss ETA movements, look great, and have worked flawlessly for years. This watch looks great, but is of inferior quality. I took it to the same jeweler I purchased the other Invictas from to be sized and because it wasn't running properly from the moment I received it -- the watch would run and then suddenly stop -- a few hours later it would start again before stalling once again. The jeweler informed me that this watch is of very poor quality and has a terrible movement. I showed him that the face clearly states "Swiss Movt." He pointed out that the back plate says "Swiss Parts" -- certainly not the same thing. He brought the same exact model of watch out of the back of his shop. It was the same except for having the red face color instead of yellow. He was repairing it and showed me the cheesy movement inside. It looked like junk and was only stamped with 2 markings: "Made in China" and "Swiss Parts" (He is phasing out his Invictas in favor of ESQs). By way of comparison he showed me the movement from an original Lupah -obviously very nicely made; and then the movement from and ESQ--an amazingly beautiful gold filled and gold plated Movado movement which is meant to last a lifetime. As for this Invica; if Mercedes shipped a bunch of engine parts to Siberia where they were assembled who knows where and who knows how would you really be able to say that the car that housed this thing had a real German Mercedes engine? Could you ever expect it to perform like a true Mercedes engine assembled in Germany by some of the best craftsmen in the world? True Swiss movements are legendary for a reason: the quality of their craftsmanship is also unsurpassed. No one would ever say that about a Chinese movement. I would have kept the watch because it is very good looking, is solid, and was inexpensive. However, after only 2 days of that sporadic stopping thing it just quit working altogether. I am RMAing it and getting something better. I hope Invicta doesn't go down this path with its other watches.

I did not pay much for this watch . It looks it. The band is like tin. I am giving it away at the school's auction.
Interesting color and keeps good time...3 1/2 stars is a more accurate rating... - Review written on July 14, 2007

I have several Invictas and was attracted to the Invicta yellow dial...it is a unique color and it looks nice up-close.
While I am partial to automatic [self-winding] watches, this analog quartz Swiss Movement keeps very good time...I set it to the www.time.gov website and it has been accurate +/- 1 sec. for the last 24 hours.
One specific downside is the three smaller dials [day,time-zone and date] are almost impossible to read without a magnifying glass...and they are not dead-on accurate, but I can live with it; it may be more important to someone else, though, so it should be mentioned.
The only other negative I would give the watch has more to do with Invicta in general than this watch specifically: their instructions are very poor, since they only provide a booklet and an added pamphlet...all of which do not directly apply to this watch. Some instructions do point you in the right direction on some of the adjustments, but it would be better if they just finally got with it and included an accurate & simple 1-page explanation with a diagram for each model. It is too easy to cause unintentional damage otherwise: for example, buried inside the box is a warning that you will void the warranty and possibly damage the springs if you adjust the watch between 10PM and 6AM! How about it, Invicta? It is especially disconcerting when one considers that Invicta seems to pride itself on a technically accurate, detailed and well-made product...why not extend this pride to the instructions??
One other note: my watch came without the usual plastic protective covering and it had fingerprints on it, so I am guessing it was a returned item...but it seems to be working OK...and I hope to avoid the need to return it and wait for another one.

As a first-time Invicta buyer, I had some trepidation about ordering this make online; particularly at the low price offered by Amazon. I needn't have worried. The watch arrived in perfect condition. Though a bit bulky, it is a beautiful, quality timepiece. The details are flawless and the watch garners many compliments. It is extremely accurate, matching my "atomic" clocks second-for-second during the month it's been on my wrist. I highly recommend this watch or other Invicta watches. I further recommend Amazon as THE place to buy!

Having only owned Fossil watches prior to this one I must say that I was a little jaded. My latest Fossil bit the dust after many long, good years of use. I happened to find this just browsing one day and was hooked by the color and overall design. I have to say, I was highly impressed with what I received. It is an absolutely beautiful watch!
