I thought I would take a chance and get one that doesn't have the spotty on/off problem so many others have reported. No such luck. It doesn't turn on when you click it. If you reseat the battery, or jiggle it around, it will eventually turn on and work, but when you need a flashlight, you need a flashlight, not one five minutes later.

A consistent design flaw or poor construction process.

On the plus side, it looks great, and when it works, it works well. I gave it to my 4-year old and bought a Smith and Wesson 28 light LED flashlight.

Purchased two. One worked, one didn't. That's about par for the course in China. Not worth the effort to return.

I found this flashlight at the bottom of a bilge, soaked in oil. It dropped 5' before finding it's home. It was hard to clean out and there was a little rust but it works as if it were brand new. I'd buy one if I didn't get this as a freebie.

I bought this for occasional use while model building. I was inially impressed by its design, configuration and bright light. But after a few uses it required shaking, and finally quit altogether. A change in batteries and check of contacts were to no avail. Ordered another, and this one doesn't work at all.

I bought two of these. Both give a wonderfully bright light. Both have erratic circuitry: they go out fequently and unexpectedly, and may or may not come back on when shken or jarred.

This is indeed a great little flashlight and a terrific value. I am a park ranger and use this light every evening to secure and close the park I work in. It's small enough to fit comfortably in a pocket and bright enough for almost any reasonably close-up task. It's held up well to exposure to sand and salt and I'm still on the first set of batteries after almost two months of regular use!

Lives up to its name. It is super bright, even though it is a convenient small size.

I purchased six to pass out to the driver employees. The light seems to be constructed good and light in weight. The emitted light is a subdued bright that is just right for completing paper work in the cab at night and giving the load a quick once over in the dark. I have received no complaints from the drivers. The light met my expectation and I am satisfied. I would recommend this light if you are looking for an inexpensive, light in weight, easy to keep handy source of light.

The flashlight was delivered in a timely fashon but didn't work. The included batteries worked fine but no light. Amazon won't replace the light because they are not the seller. All I get is a refund. When that comes through I'll decide if it's worth the hassle to try again.

When I first got this product, I was disappointed at how small it was. I made a mistake and thought I was getting something a little bigger. But when I used this little bugger, it just lights up everything. I mean this flashlight is strong. I lit up my entire backyard at night and that is saying a lot. I will never use any other kind of flashlight. Any flashlight that doesn't have LED, you are wasting your money. These little guys will do the trick and they are cheap. You won't be disappointed.

Yes, as with several other reviewers - the switch on my flashlight is flaky. It suddenly dims all by itself. Hard to recommend purchase. Oh well, at least it was cheap.

The flashlight is reasonably bright, I'll give it that. On the other hand, it comes with a warning that says, "Normal everyday use of this product is likely to expose the user to dust and microscopic particles containing lead and other chemicals known in the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm."

In other words, this thing is painted with lead paint!

Two things bothered me about this purchase. First, this light was advertised as a "buy together" with another similar light that qualified for free shipping under Amazon prime. But this light does not qualify for that since it's from another vendor, so I ended up paying about twice as much as I thought. Second, it is not as bright as the other similarly styled and priced cool blue or black flashlights I have bought from Amazon. The batteries are toss-out quality. Seems brighter with better quality batteries.

Still, it's a good light for the car, taking very little space and fitting in tight glove comprtments with ease.

I bought 3 of these things. Gave one away. Why not, they are so cheap for 9 LED's in one light? What a bargain.........
That is until you have to give the thing a whack every few seconds because there is a loose connection.
The concept is great and the exterior construction is nice and rugged, but the execution in making these things is poor.

I wouldn't actually say that it is "Heavy-Duty" but it's a nice little light that I keep in my tool bag in addition to a very expensive one. I've also taken it camping with me and it's ok for general lighting. For the price, I'm happy with my purchase. However, it's not the one for you if you want to control the light beam.

This is one bright little flashlight. It's well made and solidly constructed. That may be redundant, but it has a good, strong feel in your hand.

This product is super bright. In contrary to most reviews of the seller I read my shipping was slow. I call slow waiting 3 weeks from order to having the product in hand. I ordered 6-7 items a week after and every one of them arrived faster. Maybe My particular order was just an anomoly. Either way The product is great. Personally I do not believe 3 weeks is a resonable amount of time to wait and my experience doing so would keep me from buying from this seller again. I wish better for all of you as this seller has obviousely not had a hisory of slow shipping.

This has to be the best light I have bought yet. its size is perfect for the glove box and lights up well if you emergency lighting. for thr price it can't be beat.

it's a good, bright light, but it's too light-weight for my taste. Feels cheaply made. As long as it's not damaged by dropping or something it's got a good light, though.

It was only $5, so I didn't expect too much, but this thing is TINY. I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to the dimensions given, but I really didn't expect it to be so small. It's almost keychain small, but the light is nice and bright.

Problem is, there seems to be a bad connection between screw on top and battery which makes keeping the light lit difficult unless you press hard on the button the whole time. So, overall, I wouldn't recommend this one and think you could probably find a tiny, cheap flashlight at WalMart or a dollar store that would work better for less money.

Great product, great price. This flashlight is nice and compact, feels solid, and is very bright. All in all it was much better quality than I expected, especially for the price.

So I went camping last weekend and I took this little bad boy with me. I was at a music festival with lots of inebriated people who often needed help finding things in the dark, ie- shoes, water bottles, hats etc. This little guy fit easily into my pocket and would light up about a 10 foot area brightly. It even outshone the coleman lantern one of my friends had. Its fantastic and CHEAP! Love it!

This is a great little flashlight. The LEDs are extremely bright and provide good illumination over at least 30 feet. As with other LED flashlights, you cannot adjust the focal distance, so you cannot produce a bright spot or flood, but the illumination provided by the LEDs is sufficient for most tasks.

Regarding durability, the flashlight feels light but solid in my hand, and I have had no problems with flickering or faulty contacts. (Note: I have not put this flashlight through heavy-duty use).

I bought this just so i could meet the $25 free ship thing, but I like the flashlight very much. Its compact and gives off a nice bright white light. Prefer to use over my mini-mag for everyday use. Not sure how rugged this is and would still trust the mag over this for quality, but this is certainly worth the $$.

Having now used this flashlight while out camping, and my friends carrying around large beamlights, I was able to get around in the dark much easier with this surprisingly bright LED flashlight! Well worth the money! Would be nice to have a 1 LED option so you don't blind people when you're sneaking in and out of the tent!

This little Led light has some serious out put of light. I recommend this to anyone that needs bright light. Small enough to carry in your pocket or ladies purse.

Great flashlight, great price, it looks cool and is really bright...what more do you want for <$5? Then again, I just got mine in the mail today and so havnt had any problems yet
