My son and future daughter in law just purchased a new home that needed a lot of work. I wanted to give her a house warming gift that she would enjoy and use. Since she would be helping with a lot of the repairs, I thought this pink tool kit would be perfect. She was very excited and said it had a lot of the tools she did not have. PS...my son has used it also.

Apollo Precision Tools DT0773N1 - 135 Piece Household Pink Tool Kit

I purchased this tool kit for my daughter who just moved into her first apartment and I believe every woman living on her own should have a set of tools. This set is very compelete and includes everything to help her hang pictures to fix a shelf to patching a hole. I know it is somthing she will always have and will use often.
Tools not to be taken seriously - Review written on May 26, 2008

These tools are meant to be given to someone as a joke I think, not for anyone to do anything meaningful around a home. They are made of flimsy plastic and weak metal. The screws I have encountered in my home were more durable than the screwdriver head -- the metal on the tool stripped up rather than the screw, so the tools were ruined in first use. The drill is a complete joke since it has zero power to even assemble pre-drilled holes for screws -- again, the screw lasted longer than the drill bit. VERY, VERY disappointed in this. I'm sure someone else out there has pink tools for women that are not a complete flop. Why else would there be people selling their used sets from this very web-site!
"Toy Tools" - Review written on May 16, 2008

I asked for a set of tools for Mother's Day. I do a lot of decorating and home repair. Most of the time I have trouble finding my husband's tools. When I do find them some are too heavy and awkward for me to use (drill, battery charged screw driver, etc..).

I was extremely disappointed with the Appollo 135pc tool set. It reminds me of a toy set I bought for my son when he was 10 and wanted to help Dad with repairs. The pliers and wrench are too small for my grip and the hammer is smaller than I thought it would be. If you're looking to hang up some pictures this would be fine. But if you're looking to do more than that I would not recommend this set.

I got this tool kin for my daughter-in-law and she loved it. Her husbank
{my son} always had to go to his work truck and get tools for her when
she needed them and then remember to return them for work the next day.
Now she has her own and no self respecting man is going to show up for
work with pink tools. Well worth the price.

The product was just okay, it does not have a manual screw driver, which could have been better to have.

to me it was worth paying more to have cuter tools, but i do have a tinge of regret because the drill died after 5 minutes of use. you are forewarned.

I can't believe they even shipped this to me used, dirty and damaged. The tools inside are small and cheap. The drill is useless. I wouldn't spend the money on these tools. I am sending them back.

This is a nice 135 piece set for everyday use, the power driver is not that powerful but enough though for quick easy things.Grip for the tools is nice too.

This tool kit has all of the hand tools and a few more that a (more likely woman) will need. I have so far found all of the tools to be sturdy and well designed.

Upon opening my Apollo Tool Box, I immediately noticed the poor workmanship. All of the tools have a CHINA print or label on them, as the entire kit was Made in China. There are unfinished edges to the plastic pieces (flakes or rough edges). The tools overall have the appearance of coming through a factory line and immediately being put in the box, without a final check.

All tools have proved durable (though I have only had this for a month) but the presentation of the tools is surprisingly poor. Perhaps the appearance is of no concern to some, but if given as a gift, this tool box may look "cheap" due to the workmanship.

I bought this tool set for a niece who moved into her first apt. after college grad. She loves it and uses it continually. She said it was a unique "house-warming" gift that she will use continually. It is feminine too and that was something she liked about it and the tools were sturdy.

I bought the Apollo Precision Tool for myself because I can never find any of my husbands tools when I need them. This kit has everything I need wrapped up in one cute case. Granted, it's not a powerful 19v cordless drill, but it gets the job done. Cute pliers, hammer, etc. Not heavy-duty but again, gets a girls job done.

I have one of these sets although it is in red. It has everything you need to do basic things around the house. However, I did get it at Target for only $19.99.

This kit makes a great gift for a young woman on her own, and includes just about everything she'll need for minor repairs, hanging pictures, and setting up her own household. The addition of hangers and various nails and brads is great! The tools are well-made and should serve her well for years. The whole thing is a great value, too.
