Good Music, Positive Message - Review written on January 06, 2007

This is a good album with a couple of very good songs.

Stellar Kart has a sound that appeals to teenagers. They have a positive message. They are a Christian band and their lyrics reflect it. They are not afraid to use the name 'Jesus' in their music as so many others are. Their sound is pretty light, but very pleasant. The song 'Me And Jesus' is a standout here.

If you want a good album to get a teenager and you don't want to have to worry about awful lyrics, this would be a good choice.

I loved punk growing up and now have become more active in Church and was looking for a band that played music that was my style, but that also reflected my beliefs and what I wouldn't mind my kids hearing. This is it! They also did a concert at my Church last week. They are great! God bless.

...will buy anything with the J word in it won't you?! Even the band they are ripping off is terrible in the first place. Pathetic.

Let Down From "All Gas, No Brake" - Review written on August 14, 2006

First of all, nobody can argue that Stellar kart is defining boundaries in music. But that's not what they set out to do. This guys are pop punk, and with this album, much more on the side of pop. The effect on his voice (it's definitely not raw) gets old fast, and adds to the lack of distinguishable traits that would make their songs unique. Most of the second half blends into a one big piece of pop for me. But I do like Stellar Kart, I really enjoyed their first album, it was much less produced and much better, in my opinion. So from a fan that enjoys MxPx, Relient k, Hawk Nelson debut etc, I would not recommend this album. The first is much better, and it is money worth spending. And I definitely do not agree with the below reviews statement that it beats MxPx And Relient K's latest album. And the blink 182 reference doesn't make sense with me.

Unfortunately, Stellar Kart has released a over produced, semi-sappy, lackluster sophomore album that didn't get me as nearly pumped up as the energy blasting out of their first album.

I highly recommend their first album, but can not vouch for this one. Listen to the sample, honestly, because the album is no different then what you will hear there, so if you like it, go for it, you're in for a treat, if it's nothing special to you, check out their debut.

Regards

Great CD, totally a blast, with a positive message. I enjoyed their first full length CD, but this blows it away, reminiscent of Blink-182 but with better lyrics. Excellent production also. The latest releases by FM Static, Relient K, and MxPx don't hold a candle to this....its just a better album.

First of all, this is a better album than their first release, All Gas. No Brake. They wrote in way more lyrics, which I enjoy much better than their old method of writing short verses, & repeating the chorus over and over. All the band members have really improved on this release. If you like Hawk Nelson, Stellar Kart's previous album, or just a fan of pop-punk music in general, you will love this album.
