I have owned my Sonicare product for three years and love it. I decided to try the compact head replacement brushes and love them. They see mto do a better job cleaning all of the areas better than the standard brushes.

I was disappointed in the size of the replacement head. It was not clearly stated in add that it was a smaller version of the original toothbrush head.

The small head size is just perfect for people with a strong gag reflex. Brushes teeth clean just as well as the standard head.
This is the gold standard - Review written on August 02, 2008

The compact brush is the ideal size for your teeth and gums. Especially, for the molars which are sometimes hard to reach with a standard brush. I've used the standard brush for many years, but when this size became available I gave it a try. It is the only size I will use now. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and it is impossible to find a compact brush in a store. Either you buy online or you don't have it. You already have the premier electric toothbrush in America and now you can have the premier compact brush.
Good dentist response - Review written on July 26, 2008
Rating: 5 out of 5
I have used the Elite since it came out and the regular Sonicare before that. I was having a little trouble reaching behind the very back molars. With the new compact head I am able to do an excellent job of brushing that area. I took my new one to my dentist and she was impressed. She hadn't seen the compact and is suggesting that head for her husband who has little space in back of his molars as I do. Have enjoyed my Sonicare for years and wouldn't use any other toothbrush.
Sonicare Elite e-series brushes - Review written on June 18, 2008
Rating: 5 out of 5
As usual, the replacement brushes for my Sonicare Elite e-series are still in the "elite" quality category. I have had my Sonicare 9500 Elite toothbrush for 4-5 years, and I am very pleased with the care this brush gives my teeth. Anything to keep me away from dental needs is greatly appreciated!! Amazon.com is still very pleasant and easy to work with for my internet purchases.

My wife was determined to have a smaller toothbrush head for our Sonicare Toothbrush and I found the solution at amazon for a reasonable price. Works fine no complaints and saved me from buying a whole new toothbrush.

This replacement head is smaller than I intended to purchase. It will work for now but I would like to get a little larger head for future automatic order.

I was very disappointed in that I could not find the correct item number that I wanted (regular sonic replacement head) and therefore they sent me the compact - I don't know what item that number was because I couldn't find any item numbers. I therefore returned the product which I got refunded but it did not include the shipping. I am upset theat I didn't get credit for the shipping and I had to pay shipping to return the item.
Great product, I just wish it would last longer - Review written on April 14, 2008

I love my Sonicare toothbrush and bought these replacement heads to go with it. They do an excellent job but really only last about 3 months, based on my experience using them twice a day for probably 1.5 minutes per use on average. That works out to about $40 a year for brush heads which is somewhat steep, hence the 4 star review.
Best toothbrush in the market - Review written on April 08, 2008

I have been using this toothbrush for a couple of years and I think is the best in the market. I don't have plaque anymore. It is expensive, but I think you will spend more money in dentist in the long run if you don't use it.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2M0DU8KPKRYNP FINALLY!!!! They now make a silicone cover for Sonicare toothbrushes. Mine kept getting this gunk inside the head and it was gross. The website is www.thesonicseal.com and it works!! Mine glows in the dark which my kids love. The Sonicare toothbrushes are by far the best and they just needed something like this to keep them dry. A+++ I posted a video from their website...hope this helps.

Bristles too small - Review written on March 16, 2008

The bristles are too small so they don't cover much area and are not effective. I had to buy another set at a store and dump these. Save your money!

I love this toothbrush. Make sure you know which type of brush you like before ordering the replacements. The replacement brushes come in two different sizes. The bristles are exactly the same, just the size is different.

Even though this is a correct replacement head for E-Series Sonicare, I found the brush head to be too small. I would have preferred the standard head (my mistake in ordering the compact).

I thought the compact head was going to be way too small once I looked at it, but once I stuck it in my mouth I changed my mind. Far more maneuverable. I feel they do a far better job at cleaning than the full-sized head. Give them a shot!
Firmer than I expected - Review written on January 27, 2008

They really get the job done, but I had to revert to "beginner" mode because the bristles are firmer than I am used to and I had a little bleeding at first. OK now. I haven't had them long enough to report on dentist results.

Definitely choose the smaller heads over the regular size - Review written on January 05, 2008

Upon recommendation by my dentist, I began using the compact sizes over the regular sizes and I've found them to be much more effective and efficient.
While they are smaller, they clean better overall (same power being outputted to fewer bristles). The bristles vibrate much more vigorously when you compare the two. Also, the smaller size allows it to be controlled more agilely, reaching the cramped areas in the back of the mouth and behind the front teeth.

The brush is nice for me to enough small to clean my tooth up !!!
However the brush could not be stayed with me longer than expected, or advertised. The replacement schedule for each may be 1 month and half. The two brushes need to replace within 3 moths or less.
Like the product, but bought the wrong head size. - Review written on December 26, 2007

Obviously my reading skills don't match my grade level (18) b/c I purchased these for my husband not realizing they are COMPACT heads. The standard head is just fine (far from too big), and cheaper, so learn from my mistakes. Other than this, I like the tooth brush (once I got used to it). FYI, it is loud, though, and you will spray a lot if you don't keep your mouth generally shut.

E series are the smaller brush heads, probably designed for children.
They work ok on an adult but not quite as well as larger heads that came as original equipment.

My dental hygienist thinks the small head is better than the large one, so that's why I use it. I have replaced the head just recently and didn't realize how much I needed to!! I'll be more careful from now on and I'll be sure to replace the head at least every six months. Good price, and this size is not easy to find in stores.

Great way to prevent cavities in your children - Review written on October 13, 2007

My 7-year old son's teeth are cavity-prone due to weak enamel. Since he started using Sonicare he went 3 dental check-ups (1-1/2 years worth) without cavities. The small brush head is ideal for children's teeth. It turns off automatically after 2 minutes so he knows exactly how long to brush.

Sonicare is a great toothbrush. These compact replacement brushes are very comfortable and seem to get to each tooth to clean. We like this size. I also like being on the program where Amazon automatically sends them every 6 months. Very convenient.
Compact heads are the way to go! - Review written on October 02, 2007

I've been using a Sonicare for about a year now, and I've used both the standard and compact size heads. I found that, with the standard head, it was often difficult to adequately brush the hard-to-reach teeth in the back of my mouth. Since switching to a compact head, this is no longer a problem.
For Sonicare users who are disappointed with the standard-sized heads, I highly recommend switching the the compact heads.

The smaller brush head works well for my 12 year old to keep her orthodontics clean and shiny. Her orthodontist recommended this particular brush series. The brush heads last about six months each.
