The pockets for the extra griddles are a little tight, but overall the product was what I expected. It is durable and holds the grill securely.
Great Addition to a Wonderful Portable Grill - Review written on September 08, 2008
Rating: 4 out of 5
This bag is a must have for anyone who owns the RoadTrip grill. It is well constructed from a heavy nylon weave material (similar to that used on travel luggage), and the main zipper is strong and functional.
The design of the bag allows for the grill plates to be removed and slotted into pockets with velcro closures within the case. This prevents the plates from sliding around inside the grill during transportation. The roller wheels are also sturdy, and are more functional on hard surfaces than the plastic wheels of the grill itself. Finally, well placed padded handles on each end of the case make for easy lifting of the grill by one or two people.
This would be a 5 star rating if the mesh poket on the front was a little longer to accommodate the plastic handle/stand foot of the grill (it sticks out a little when it is in place).
Overall, highly recommeded if you want to protect the RoadTrip and keep everything in one place during transportation and storage.
Get this case - Review written on September 08, 2008

If you have the Coleman road trip grill, you need this case. It is so much easier to handle, carry and live with the already great grill with a great case. Keeps the grill clean, keeps the car clean and it's convenient.
Great, but with a few quirks - Review written on September 04, 2008

Coleman RoadTrip Wheeled Carry Case
I think this bag is amazing, but there are a couple design areas where I was at a loss until reading a few helpful reviews, where others before me gave excellent directions on getting the grill into the bag. By leaving the stand extended and shortening the leg, and then placing it in the bag and collapsing it, to fit almost perfectly.
Coleman needs to put directions in and on the box.
Another issue that I have and a few others also have, is the fact that one end of the bag will not zip around the chrome handle on the grill. I am thinking this might be a variance in sewing technique, making some bags slightly smaller. I cannot imagine another reason that it works for some and not others. I am not going to remove the handle on the grill. There's got to be a better way.
Great item! - Review written on August 26, 2008
Rating: 4 out of 5
I purchased this bag to go with my new RoadTrip Grill. It's a must have for anyone who will be using the grill to travel with. This keeps the grill contained and protects it from getting scratched while traveling. I like the compartments in the bag, but decided not to use them for the grill plates...it's makes it too heavy for me to get the grill in and out of my van. I have a tote that I keep all of my camping supplies in so I just keep the grill grates in there. The wheeels makes it easy to move the bag around. I love this bag and I would have given it 5 stars, but I think that it's strange that I need to remove the handle from the grill to get it to fit in the bag. The bag should have been able to accomodate the folded grill as-is.
Does not fit the Pro SS - Review written on August 25, 2008

Unfortunately I did not understand the description to say that this unit does not fit the PRO SS. Otherwise a good idea.
Sound Purchase - Review written on July 24, 2008

Case is sturdy and works well. Be sure to air out the case prior to storage if it will be indoors because the material it is made of has a strong odor. Otherwise it is a great carring case.

Perfect to travel with - Review written on July 18, 2008
Rating: 5 out of 5
I didn't realize this was strictly for travel and that I still needed a cover for everyday use. Unless you are going to take it on the road right away, I would get the other case first and wait untill I was taking it somewhere or putting the grill away to get this one.
Excellant - Review written on June 12, 2008
Rating: 5 out of 5
I am very satisfied with this case for my RoadTrip Grill. I didn't know how to store my grill in my camper, but this solves everything. I don't have to worry about it scratching my floor. The handles make it so much easier to handle. It still has the slight smell even after being open for a month, but it doesn't bother me enough for it to be an issue. Well worth the investment. I had gotten my grill on clearance, and now I got a great deal on the case. Will recommend to anyone.

Only used it one trip so far, but it appears to be well made and designed nicely for use with my grill. Great to protect your car or trailer from the grill after use.

I'm sure this is a great cover, however the description says the case fits ALL Coleman RoadTrip grills. This is not true...it DOES NOT fit the RoadTrip Pro SS grill model number 9928.
Coleman Road Trip Grill Wheeled carry case - Review written on May 15, 2008
Rating: 5 out of 5
We purchased a Coleman Road Trip grill for camping and I wanted a carrying case to protect it. I did price checks on this item and Amazon was best price and free shipping too. I love it. It keeps the grill in place and doesn't let it get scratched or slide all over the RV. So it's been a great investment and worth the money. I highly recommend this item for your Coleman Road Trip grills.
Versatile case doubles as a cover! - Review written on May 09, 2008

I got this case because I will use my grill as my main grill for my RV. When we set up on a site, we set up the grill and then turn this case upside down to use as a cover for the grill. Very nice and has pockets for 2 additional grill/griddle sections, plus there is a mesh pocket on the front for a hose to hook up to a larger tank. Very pleased with this item.
The Coleman bag will serve it's purpose - Review written on May 08, 2008

I just received my Coleman Road Trip Carry Case for my 9949-750 Road Trip Grill LXE; it was received very quickly but without any instruction on how to pack the grill in it. After some trial and error I found that first I had to shorten the handle/foot of the grill by pushing a release button located on the lower side of the handle/foot; then with the grill still in it's extended position, set the grill in the bag then collapse it into the bag working the bag around the grill. The pockets located in the bottom are actually quite roomy despite some of the other comments that I have read here, I am storing a set of cast iron grills on one side and a set of griddles on the other side and by set I mean two each. The out side pocket is very accomodating for the Coleman cover we bought for the stove between use while set up. Hopefully the bag will stretch some to allow packing and unpacking a little easier. I think it will serve it's purpose as a means of transporting in the back of my pick-up.

Price was good, as was delivery. Case appears rugged. Storage for "optional" items like griddles not so great. Otherwise, nice case.

Good Product For the Money - Review written on April 11, 2008

I received my carry case today [...] and tried it out immediately. All the items from the grill, and the grill itself, easily fit into the case and will make it much easier to load/unload, transport and set up at the campsite. The pockets are a little small for the grills, but the velcro straps do hold everything tightly in place and make storage simple. The ouside webbed pocket is great for small items and makes them easily seen when needed. My only criticism echoes a previous review in that the carry case has a VERY strong odor resembling gasoline, which was so offensive that I had to move it to the ouside porch. I am hoping that odor will abate with time and plenty of ventilation. All in all, my opinion is still very favorable.
Coleman Road Trip Grill Carrry Case Review - Review written on April 09, 2008

The item was sent to me without instructions. Without instructions it was not easy to figure out where to store the separate grill parts and burners. I had to guess. This led to placing the grill on the wrong spot creating a big dent on the red top of the grill. The new grill now looks old and dented from the damage.
This is a good Value - Review written on April 06, 2008

I bought this carry case recently to protect the grill when I am traveling in my motorhome. The cover prevents the grill from banging, clanging and getting bent in the basement. A little spendy but worth the money in the long run.

Smells like Gasoline - Review written on January 07, 2008

We are disappointed in the carry case that we ordered for the grill. When we opened the package, it smelled as if it were drenched in gasoline. We tried putting it on over the grill, but it was not easy or a good fit. Seems like it would be more of hassle to use than not use it. We will be returning the carry case.

Nice Product! The Wheeled Case works like you expect it should.
1) The Nylon material is thick and should last.
2) The case uses the large zippers that you would find in a quality piece of luggage. 3) The internal pouches work like they should to hold two grill grates.
4) There is an outer net pouch that you can store quite a few items -- plates, salt, pepper, etc.
5) There is plenty of room inside the bag to store your utinsils and even a roll of aluminum foil so you can line the grill for easy cleanup.
6) There are even nice velcro straps to secure the grill grates and the BBQ unit itself. Nice!
One improvement could be if Coleman used a nice plastic or reinforced handles. The two handles (one on each side for two person pick up) are definitely sufficient. But using nice plastic or some type of reinforced material would make the handles more comfortable and give the handles more or a sense of higher quality. But this comment is being overly picky.
The bag is a great buy. You will love it if you own the Road Trip Grill.
Awesome accessory - Review written on December 02, 2007

Excellent carry case. It is made of sturdy material. The wheels add to the practicality of the case. The pockets inside the case provide storage for griddles, grill, stove grate. We are very satisfied with this product
Great Case for carrying and storage - Review written on November 03, 2007
Rating: 4 out of 5
This case fits the roadtrip grill very well. It has 2 velcro straps for securing the grill inside. The pockes in the bottom for storing the interchageable grates could be a little bigger (the griddle sticks out, but the stove grate fits fine). A long side accesory pocket would be a nice addtion for storing grill tools, but there is room in the bottom. There is a mesh pocket on the outside. The handles on each end make for easy handling. The case and zipper are very tough, should hold up well and last a long time. Well worth the price, if you're looking for a good storage and carry case. Would have received 5 stars, except for the small accessory storage pockets.
AWESOME BAG!!! - Review written on September 04, 2007
Rating: 5 out of 5
This is a must have for storing the grill. Just got mine today and was blown away. I don't know what the guy was talking about having to remove the handle to make the grill fit. Everything fits fine, the grill, the (2) seperate griddles, the adaptor hose, all fits inside the bag. The griddles have their on compartment. Well worth the money!!!
A must have. - Review written on September 02, 2007
Rating: 5 out of 5
I had purchased the Road trip Coleman grill with all the extras. Griddle, pot racks, extension hose to convert to a propane tank, and the grill racks that come with it. The case held all of the items listed, a little heavy but keeps it all in one place. A previous person suggested lining the inside of the grill with foil before you cook, excellent suggestion. I would have been cleaning for days without lining it first. Used for camping for 7 days and was able to manage the tempature very well and enjoyed all food that was prepared on it. I would highly recommend this product for the tailgater, camper, or for use at home.

I received this carry case and was immediately impressed with the construction of it. This is not a cheap lightweight carry bag. It is a heavy duty made carry bag that will take considerable abuse. The pockets are well thought out for this style of grill. I am very pleased with this item and recommend it for this type of grill.
Sturdy and well constructed - Review written on August 09, 2007
Rating: 4 out of 5
This bag is just perfect for toting the bulky grill. It will even stand up by itself on the rugged inline skate wheels. The only drawback, and why I gave it 4 stars, is that you have to remove the handle from the grill to get it in the bag. The handle will fit inside once it's removed but it could scratch or damage the grill. If the bag was just a few inches longer, you wouldn't need the extra step of removing the handle.

Case will hold all the gear you need with your Road Trip Grill. Two straps hold the top closed so you can store grills or griddles in place, and two inside pockets hold two more grills or griddles. Makes storage and portability even easier.
Everything Fits Inside - Review written on July 05, 2007

We purchased the Coleman RoadTrip Grill LXE 9949-750 and absolutely love it! Whenever we set it up, people always come around asking questions about it. Even more heads turn when I close the lid and lock it, and with one swift move, the whole grill folds flat. I then slide it into the wheeled carrying case and pop it in the trunk. Awesome. No messy coals or irritating smoke. I soak the grill grates in soapy water when I get home and wipe out some spattered grease. Ready for the next BBQ!
This review is about the carrying case. The case keeps any dirt or grease on the grill from spreading to the trunk of our car. It has handy-dandy exterior pockets for holding extra propane cans or extra accessory stove grates. The wheeled case will also keep your grill from getting scratches and make it easier for two people to lift it into and out of the trunk of a car.
If you decide that you can live without the Wheeled Carry Case, (after all, the RoadTrip Grill has wheels of it's own) be careful when wheeling the grill around. Coleman didn't make the grill lid lock very well and the slightest jar will cause the two interior grill grates to tumble out and onto the ground. Yikes!

Why have your grill, hose, griddle, and regulater all in seperate places when you can store them in one carry case which has room for even more. Great product.

Bought this for my hubbys road trip grill. The grill fits really well and gives me a warm fuzzy knowing that any grease not cleaned will not end up where it should not (on the camper or the truck). It has handy wheels that make moving it around real easy, and getting it down from the pick up with the built in handles also makes things easier. The extra grates that we have bought for the grill fit in the pockets and storing the grill brush with the grill is another plus. It seems really well constructed and I expect will last us for years to come.

This carrying case makes getting our Roadtrip from place to place easy and it keeps all of the grill plates, hose connections, etc. together. When we are ready to go, so is the Roadtrip. The wheels allow 1 person to easily transport the grill from the truck to the picnic table. It is extremely durable as well. I highly recommend this as a necessity for any Road Trip owner!
