Great Bed, Holds Up to ACTIVE 4 yr old! - Review written on October 14, 2008
Rating: 4 out of 5
After reading the negative reviews, I was worried about this purchase but I took a deep breath, crossed my fingers and ordered anyway. I'm glad I did.
It's been about a month since this arrived and I've used this bed almost every single night, usually deflate in the morning and reinflate at night. Even after repeatedly telling my 4 yr old son not to hop or jump on it, he still does and it's still in great shape.
After filling it up for the first time, the bed itself expanded some during the night and I had to refill it with more air but it keeps air really well and thus far there are no leaks.
I will fill it up a few hours before bedtime and then once again with a little air right before bed time just to make sure it's firm since my son is constantly rolling or jumping on it.
I love that it's so versatile, it's a definate 4 stars, I'd give it five if I didn't have to refill it at all and if it came with it's own air pump which it DOESN'T. But for the price, you can't beat it!

For the price, this really can't be beat. It's really comfortable, especially in the "double stack" configuration. It's easy to unfold and separate them also. "4-in-1" is a little misleading, as it's counting the twins as two, but even still, 3 distinct configurations for this price is a great deal. I haven't had leaking problems, though I do not use it frequently for for extended periods. It inflates very fast with the Coleman Rechargeable Quick Pump, which I also highly recommend. Overall, it's perfect for what I needed, which is just an occasional bed for visitors or visiting others.

I bought this item for my daughter to use for a sleep over. Loved the ease of set up, inflated in a couple of minutes. Loved how two can be connected to make one king size bed or they can be separate for two twins. My daughter (10 and light weight) loved it so much, she continued sleeping on it, with the twins on top of one another, for a couple more nights. Last night, the top one had deflated. I didn't worry, it had been inflated for nearly a wk. I re-inflated it. An hour later, it was flat. Re-inflated, again. Flat, again, in an hour. Now, I am off to email Coleman to see what they will do. I really like the concept and had planned on bringing one on our next vacation, but $40 was a little much for less than a wk of using it.
