Except for not being quite as powerful as I would prefer, I can't be happier with these scissors.
They were an Amazon Deal of the Day which automatically comes to my computer.
I am really happy I took advantage of the deal[[AS IN:B000BAURWU Black & Decker SZ360 3.6-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Power Scissors]] that particular day.

I saw a pair of these in Marshalls for 12.00 the same weekend that I bought some Dynamat 10415 Xtreme Speaker Kit 2 Sheets to go in my car doors and these worked great for cutting that. I have also cut up two cardboard boxes. Great product.

I bought a pair thinking "for this price, I can't lose." Well, I haven't lost yet and I have been buying these suckers for everyone I know! They are the greatest. I have had various electric scissors since they first came out and these are the first ones that really came through! Yay Black & Decker! I highly recommend you buy a pair. You can't beat the price and I guarantee you won't be unhappy with them! I have used them for quilting (they cut through batting like butter!) and I have used them on the awful packaging they come in (wish I had them then!) Ha! Anyway, I have used them on a lot of things and they cut great!

Nice tool, cuts well. If you do a lot of cutting, it's worth every penny. Don't expect it to cut cardboard or Burlap. Paper, film and fine cloth, it works great.

I've used these to cut plastic and they even made it easy to cut aluminum "bubble wrap" in a straight line. Like them!

These scissors work great for many things. I bought two pair on a gold box special. I put one pair in the kitchen gadget drawer, and the other in my tool box. The kitchen scissors are great for lopping off the top of plastic bags of frozen foods, etc. also great for cutting parchment for baking, cardboard for cakes, breaking down cereal boxes for the gargage, recycling and on and on. I use them many times a day. The tool box pair work great for package opening, cutting drop clothes, etc. Just about any dry cutting that involves streaches of thin stock is a snap with these. Yes they work on plastic bubble packs.

I got this on a Gold Box special, for what I thought was a good price. I'm now back to using my "old" way of opening up plastic encased products, which is by using my Stanley heavy duty box cutter.

These scissors will barely cut through a thin sheet of paper, so that the "good price" I got them for should have been about 90% lower than what I paid.

This pair of Black and Decker scissors really does rate a 0 and is one of the worse pieces that I've purchased since, now, all Black and Decker tools are being made in China.

I won't be buying any more Black and Decker products.

But then again, what should I expect on a Gold Box Deal for ten bucks?

My overall opinion is that, "This thing is garbage." At least that's what I've said to my wife time and time again.

I bought it for one purpose: those molded, plastic packages that everything seems to come in these days. It does a decent job if you're cutting straight and if the plastic isn't thick. However, if you're trying to cut into a tight corner of the package or if there's any "meat" to the plastic, it just grinds to a halt. I have taken out my Cutco scissors more times that I should have needed since purchasing these.

I haven't used it for cardboard, but based on my experience with plastic, I doubt it would do much for corrugated board. I also haven't used it for paper products, but I'm sure it would suffice in most cases. It just doesn't do a good job on molded, plastic packaging.

I have found these sissors to be the best of two other brands I have tried. Unfortuantly I lost the charger on the first set I had and had to purchase another one. Now I have two and keep them both charged. Having twins to sew for I often cut 4 thicknesses of fabric and no problems. I highly reccomend the Black & Decker power sissors.

The Black & Decker 3.6-Volt Cordless Power Scissors does an amazing job of cutting especially the hard plastic packaging we all struggle to open. It cuts paper products smoothly and in a straight line. It stays charged for a very long time and has a safety switch. I highly recommend it!

Bought these for my wife to help out with her endless scrap booking projects. They work as advertised...they will cut through anything and also give you the nice clean edges needed for scrap booking. The only complaint is that my wife can not use these when the children are asleep because they are louder than I expected.

I was surprised how easy it was to use the Black and Decker power scissors. I bought three of them on the Golden Box deals on Amazon for $10 each. I wasn't sure if I had made a mistake since I had not tried them. But when I got them I tried one and it worked wonderfully. I was zipping through cardboard boxes, etc. one after another and opening packages with no effort.
It did not come with the fabric shoe accessoryBlack & Decker SZ360 3.6-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Power Scissors which would have been nice. But hey it was only $10. You can buy the complete kit at Home Depot for $20 with the accessory.

Black & Decker seems to make some excellent tools. I also have their cordless drill. It is nice when you can charge things, put the cord away, and have the charge last for a while. I am going to send one to my sister and her husband.

This product is great for cutting fabric samples. Sure beats using scissors. So far, so good.

So far so good. They're a little loud, sort of remind me of a tattoo machine. The scissors do cut blister packaging, but the initial cut into a package isn't as easy as it looks. Once you get over that, it's easy. Over all, I think this is a great product.

These electric scissors are terrific! I have a health situation with my hands that has caused me to not be able to use my hands 100% and using regular scissors can be painful but these scissors make my life so much easier. The scissors cut through package so smoothly.
I like mine so much I bought a couple extra to use as gifts in the future.

I bought this for $9.99 on one of Amazon's special deals. I didn't need to use it right away so I let it sit in the garage in the original packaging for about two months. When I finally opened it and tried to charge it, it was immediately apparent that it was defective. The part inside the body of the scissors that is necessary to charge the product was totally loose. It seems like this would be a really useful item to have around the house, so I may buy another one. I'm not sure I'd go the Black & Decker route, though.

Buy this scissors because by the age of my mom, effort costs him a lot to do its dummies and other things. She this very happy. I also the use and seems me excellent.

I have a Mom that Sew's and craft's a bunch. She has an arsenal of scissors, so I needed to do something different. Click,scroll,scroll,ect! Found what I thought I wanted and did the price checking. Hmmm? $36........All the way down to $7!!! Yes, 5-fold!! Click, order,ect.
Got the product as fast as humanly possible( that included the post office! who didnt drop the ball either! ) Charged it up, and slice away!
These are the coolest cutting devices I've ever used. For doing patterns, garments, single and doubled layered items,ect. This probably isnt a heavy duty product, but for lighter projects, these are wonderful. And, they are unbelievable fast. Really fast. Don't get me wrong, I havent really abused these yet to know how heavy-duty they are, but, I think that they would fair just fine. These make cutting jobs fun,really.

After a full charge the unit just cut like crazy.I have just used it on paper but at $15.00 I don't expect it to cut like my Air tools.Fun to use.

This scissor makes noise and that's all it does. It barely cuts a piece of paper. I bought it (and 7 others, too, for gifts) mostly to cut through the hard plastic wrapping on gadgets. The scissor DOES NOTHING. It will absolutely NOT GO THROUGH the very outer edge and once you get through, it barely goes through the single layer of plastic that covers the object. I also had a strong 22-year-old guy try it and he came to the same conclusion. I already told 2 of the recipients that this thing is a piece of crap, don't bother opening it, and play dumb and regift it to another sucker.

I love these scissors. They are able to cut through multiple layers and save me a ton of time and energy.

The power scissors are excellent. I use them for everything. They are exactly as described. Shipping was timely. Seller was great. Highly recommend.

I wouldn't suggest this for use of paper, but it comes in use with fabric. I create my own fashion designs, so this is really handy cutting off a yard, or long seams like pant legs and long sleeves.

Outstanding product. Functions as described. Good battery life. Cuts just about everything and a lot easier on the hands.

Does everything it is suppossed to do. No problems. Great little tool to have around.

The first scissors we received would not run after an overnight charge. We followed the supplied instructions implicitly, gave up, and returned them. Amazon immediately sent a replacement. After an overnight charge, the new scissors seemed to work properly. We cut several pieces of paper, even opened a plastic package. The scissors cut very well. We recharged the scissors overnight. Again, the scissors would not work. We even tried removing the head (without success), so we decided to again return them. As I was putting them in the box for return, they again worked. There must be an intermittent problem of some sort with these scissors. We did not want to take a chance that they would again fail so we returned them anyway. We received an e-mail from Amazon stating they had problems with this item and would send a refund rather than replacing it.

Finally someone produced an electric scissor that will cut more than a single sheet of paper. I have tried many and this one is the best and most powerful. Great for opening tamper proof plastic packaging. Cuts everything I have tried it on, even the stems of roses. Great product.

I got this at $10, which I think is a deal. It is a very useful tool when you have a lots work to do or when you need to cut a hard plastic box like the one carrying this tool.

These Black and Decker electric scissors work great. Stays charged for a long time. Cuts through cardboard like regular scissors cut through paper. Fast and precise. Keep away from kids though. These scissors cut like a pirana.

This is the greatest pair of power scissors I have ever had. They will cut anything from material to carpet. Don't know how I lived without them. Great for people with arthritic hands. Thanks for a great product.
