I guess I was just the unlucky one, as others posted that it worked for them for 6 months so far with no problems, etc., but for me it stopped working after one day.

After one day, it the red light that indicates iPod's being charged doesn't go on anymore. That's pretty much all there's to it.. I guess I should've known better than to buy at this price. Lesson learned!

Works great; tried on a recent trip and it does all it was advertised to do. Very pleased with item and seller!

How could I not?

This product is total crap. I get intermittent charges which require you to unplug and plug back in...and even then it doesn't work. I thought perhaps the cable was bad, but I plugged it into my computer and it charged just fine with no problems. The power unit itself indicates with a red light that it is receiving power from my car, but when I plug in the USB cable to charge my iPod...it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Really annoying. Get a Belkin cable. Never had problems with them. AVOID THIS!!!

Mine arrived in tact but never worked. After the unreasonably high shipping price to get it to me, I decided that it wasn't worth it to pay to ship it back and then pay to ship another one. You might think, as a bargain hunter, that you're getting a deal here, but you're not. You're just buying a total piece of flimsy trash.

Cord works wonderfully and it gives you an extra transfer cable....which helps me out a ton! A great buy!

Product does what you expect it to do! It charges your ipod, and at a fraction of the price of the name brand alternatives.

it worked fine the first day when we tested it out in our van but when my husband took it to work the next day,it would not keep the charge- could there be a defect in it & that may be why the seller was selling it for $0.14
save up your money & get a better one- go for a satechi 6 in 1 that has everything including a holder for your ipod

The charger works great! I wish the cord was longer though. I use it on my mini and video ipod. No problems!

I thought this product looked cheap but the reviews were good, so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. It works great and actually charges quicker than my laptop and cord do.

When using the charger and audio cable at the same time there was interference in the line and the audio had interference in it; sounded like a distant radio station.

This product is great -- it does just what it's supposed to. I bought this to charge my video ipod over the weekend or on road trips. I wanted something simple & inexpensive. This does the trick. It charges the ipod in the car which is exactly what it says it does -- & you can't beat the price -- even with the somewhat outrageous shipping/handling charge. Five stars in my book!

This device is fine for charging an iPod in your car. Every now and then, our iPod turns up in the car juiceless. When that happens, we just pull out this device and plug it in, and within seconds, the iPod comes back to life. It looks and feels like cheap plastic, but it works as advertised, and we have had no problems with it after 6 months of use.

I received in great time and it was as if brought out of the store.

Along with the car charger adapter (which comes with a "roll-up" cord), I also bought the plug-in wall adapter, and the AV cable to watch ipod movies on TVs at the same time, from the same vendor. The whole deal, including shipping was under [...]. I saw a similar package at [...].

I gave it a 4 because the plastic covering appears cheap, and it seems to get warm after charging for a while, but it works great (also applies to the wall charger). For it's price though, I could buy 10 or more of these before I spend as much as the Apple brand.

iPod accessories are so over-priced that it is nice to get
a reasonably priced item that does what is expected.
Very basic but does the job.
