We are very pleased with the Omron HEM-780 blood pressure monitor. It's easy to use, plus the comfit cuff works well on my small arm, as well as my husband's large arm. It was simple to figure out how to work it and the results are easy to read. The price at amazon was ~$40 lower than same product at a local drug store. Appears to be a high quality product that will last for many years.

This product is wonderful! It is very easy to use and extremely accurate. Very good value for the money, I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

This little blood pressure device was recommended by a friend for my elderly mother. She had previously been using the wrist cuff monitor and we were told that the arm cuff version gave more reliable readings. I am giving this 5 stars because it was really easy for me to use, however, my mother found it a bit too bulky after being accustomed to the cuff, which she could navigate easily on her own. And the cuff version is smaller. We took readings with both and to our amazement, they were almost identical. Therefore, it is really a matter of which you are comfy with. This one would be a great home monitor, but the cuff version is better for travel. It takes up less space.

This is my 3rd BP monitoring unit. It is very easy to use and you can configure it to take a few measurements in succession and provide the average reading. So far, I'm happy with it.

I purchased this item to send as a gift to overseas family member. So far, this product is working fine with great features. I would buy another omron BP monitor (same one) for my own family.

I gave away the HEM-780 and bought the HEM-712C because I hated the so called ComFit Cuff. I have an average size arm yet the ComFit Cuff was too balky and didn't fit right. I had to keep moving it around to get a reliable reading.

After considerable research I purchased this blood pressure monitor and I'm very pleased with the device. It has alot more features than any other monitor offered for the price I paid. It is very accurate and easy to use. BTW, I am also very happy about the price I paid at Amazon.com which was less than the price of a basic monitor offered exclusively at Walmart and manufactured by this company.

This blood pressure monitor is quick and easy. I don't have to guess how high I need to go with a bulb pressure unit. The cuff fits my upper arm which exceeds "normal" cuff measurements. It is comfortable and partially permanent formed so it grips your arm while you are wrapping the rest of the cuff around your arm which makes it very easy to put on.

Has a memory which makes it easy for me to keep a record for my docotor. I even bought one for my sister...

I just received mine so it's too early for me to review it. But responding to an earlier post, the box has 780 as the model number but the machine has a sticker on the back that has N3.

I am very pleased with the Omron BP HEM780 monitor that I purchased. Easy to read and easy to use. Checked it out with my doctor for accuracy and it was accurate. The only con (and not a big one) is that putting it on takes a little getting use to; but if you do not do it properly, it lets you know it with symbols on the machine so you try it again.

Wonderful product. We originally purchase it for my mom, who suffers from high blood pressure and needs to monitor it. Arrive ok and the instruction were easy to follow. My mon learn them rigth away and she is using it all the time.

Others can use it in 'guest' mode. I have not yet taken it with me on a visit to my doctor to compare the readings with the one my doctor uses. Just be sure to read the instructions to make sure you orient it correctly. I recommend it.

According to Dr. Oz and You: Staying Young: The Owner's Manual for Extending Your Warranty (You), monitoring blood pressure is a critical aspect of taking care of your body ... so this was one of several products I purchased for my husband and I as I implemented the Staying Young program.

This product is absolutely SUPERB. The directions for setting it up were extremely easy to follow. It has a toggle button to select between two people and not only does it report your blood pressure and pulse within a matter of seconds, it tracks it for both people as morning and evening readings. Putting on the cuff is simple as it is already arm shaped and getting it in the right spot (1" above elbow with blue stripe lined up with middle finger) is a cinch.

I highly recommend this product.

This model is much easier to use than the older model I have. It's nice that it keeps track of your readings automatically.

I am being treated for hypertension and wanted a home testing product that I could put my faith in. I tried several versions of arm and wrist blood pressure models, but their results seemed too variable and unreliable when reviewed by my physician. The Omron HEM-780, with its system of averaging readings and storing results, provides my physician and I the reliability we desired. I am very pleased with its performance and can highly recommend it to anyone.

I found this monitor to be a very good & accurate. My blood pressure was a little out of hand and I feel by having one that is accurate, it may save me from a stroke or heart attack.

I've only had this HR monitor for a few weeks, but so far it's been perfect. Very easy to use, just like the automatic monitors you find in grocery stores. It is a little tight on your upper arm when it inflates, but I suppose it has to be to get a good reading. Excellent buy!

My blood pressure escalated these past few months and my doctor required that I start taking home blood pressure measurements. I went online to research what type of device I should purchase. I found that the arm cuffs were suppose to be the most accurate, and also that Omron was right up there for some of the best devices made. I chose the Omron HEM-780N3 for the comfit automatic cuff as well as the opportunity to keep track of the daily readings for both AM & PM. What I wish I had known was how inaccurate this product would be. My blood pressure readings were all over the place. I took it with me to the clinic to test for accuracy. My readings in both arms with the clinic cuffs were fairly stable when done multiple times. When we tested it against the Omron cuff in both arms, the readings were 15-20 points higher with the Omron. It is an easy device to use, but if you purchase it make sure that you get it checked against your clinic readings so you have a better understanding of what your blood pressure actually is.

I bought this for mom and we were able to use this product straight out of the box. Readings are accurate and it meets my expectations.
I will definitely recommend it.

They should have a quick guide, two-page booklet summarizing how to set the unit. I had to read the brochure twice before being able to use it. At first I was using the single test mode and for some reason it reset by itself to the Tru-Test mode which takes 3 readings within 3 minutes span and gives you an average. I had to go back to the booklet to reset it to the single test mode. I used to have a manual inflate bp monitor and I never had trouble with it. This one gives too many error messages related to the cuff. I don't like the fact the cuff doesn't lie flat. Next time I buy something from Amazon, I am going to read the one and two star reviews instead of the 4 and 5 star ones.

The Omron product is really nice to handle. The manual instructions are simple. The readings shown in the display are large and accurate. The comfit technology is really great as it inflates and deflates as needed.
It is highly recommended for Home Blood Pressure measurement.

works fine, the ability to track and store both am and pm readings for two different people is good, constructions seems okay and I might worry if this was to be used continuously in a doctors office, but for home use this seems to be working great, will update after a year of use to see if it holds up

Omron HEM-780N3 Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor with ComFit Cuff

Look the truth is their are lots of monitoring devices for blood pressure out there but Omron is the leader. This model is very accurate for a home monitoring device and pretty simple to use. Some of the features can be a little tricky to set up but its in the manual. For just getting a result you need only plug in in, put the cuff on and press a button. In only a few seconds you have your result and it places the result in memory.

I have been using this device for a couple of months and its great.

I thought I was ordering a simplistic B/P monitor but it has the heplful feature of keeping an average of the readings that is easy to access and it does this for a second person!! A real plus!
