These measuring cups have made baking so much easier for me. They are wider and not as tall as the measuring cups they replaced. This makes them more stable on a counter top and they slide well into the mouth of the containers I keep my flour and sugar in. The leveler is extremely handy and I appreciate the wide handles on the cups which makes the grip feel more substantial. I haven't dropped one yet which happened on more than one occasion with my last set that had very skinny handles. This can be tragic when watching your last cup of brown sugar fall all over the floor.

I got what I ordered, they work great, and color is nice deep red.

I did think the cups would be on a closed ring, but they don't, they are connected by open hook that is also extension of the leveler, not a big deal but I would have prefered the closed ring version... but still great cups, do the job so, look nice, so they get 5 star from me.

The best feature I like about this set is the red level tool so that ingredients are accurate. The deep red color is awesome.

It is, in fact, odd to write a review of such a small, even trivial, set of tools such as these. But they are in fact a pleasure, an unexpected pleasure, because of their quality, color, and design. They remind you, each time you use them, that cooking is a pleasure, an art -- and that the pleasure of it lies not just with the finished product but with the process itself.

Measuring cups don't really seem like something on which you would even think to write a review. However, I really like these for several reasons. They nest tightly; the sides are straight and it's easy to use a knife to top off for exact measuring; the handles are comfortable; they clean up nicely in the dishwasher; they are wide and bottoms flat making it easy to measure ingredients and just sit the cup on the counter without worrying it will tip over; AND the markings are large so I don't need glasses to see what size cup it is. Very nice thing to have in the kitchen. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I figured after 10 years or so, it wouldn't hurt to replace some of the "basics" in my kitchen. That's what I did and was happily surprised to find that this Cuisinart set has a great "feel" to it and comes out of the dishwasher in fine shape.
