Needed to find the center of a bedroom ceiling to install a overhead light. Since I live alone, I had no one to help me hold a regular tape measure to the ceiling. So I investigate other measuring device options and found the Strait-line 300 rolling tape
to be a good choice. Works great. Got the job done in less than five minutes. Tip - Save yourself some bucks, this device can be found at Home Depot for $20 dollars.

This is a great product! The commercials are correct! But..
I ordered this from Amazon, then saw it at Home Depot for $19. That is a significant difference. Amazon only has a low price +10% if you have not already purchased it from Amazon.

I will have limited use for a tape measure around the house thanks to my new rolling tape, especially when you have multiple items you want evenly spaced. The product allowed me to do the layout and measurements by myself and best of all it calculates the math!

I received this item for my birthday. I just used it for the first time and WOW!!! I didn't have to use a tape measure to space out the pictures that I was hanging in my living room. Can't believe how easy it is. I also used this with the Straitline Laser Level and ended up with perfectly spaced pictures that we exactly level on the wall. I highly recommend this item to anyone who lives indoors.

My wife collects plates and after half of a day trying to hang 13 plates equally seperated around the kitchen, I broke down and bought one of these. What a life saver. All I did was roll it over the wall then told it how many plates I had and rolled it back. It beeped at each interval, and if I passed it up, an arrow popped up and told me which way to go. It even has a built in dimpler to mark each spot! This thing is awesome.
