I bought these in August for my Father and he loved them. Upon visiting him this Christmas (4 months later), I discovered that he had stopped wearing them. The bottom had ripped away from the waist band and a button came off. The pajamas are of course now useless. Went to order someone new ones, and of course these came up on the search. Don't buy this inferior quality for this much money! Not a good deal

When you first get these, you will realize that they are WAY BIGGER than they should be & assume they have made a mistake. But then, when you wash them, they will shrink into TINY kids looking clothes. I washed these in cold water, did not put in dryer, yet they shrunk about 4 to 5 sizes. I also washed in a gentle cycle, yet the seams look they are starting to fall apart and lint sticks all over them & they come out of the machine FULL OF WRINKLES..so basically after the first wash they are garbage...so unless you plan on having your PJ's dry cleaned, I wouldn't waste my money on these, they were cozy & comfortable at first (although when they arrive they will be WAY TO BIG) but once they make contact with water they are ruined (even though it says they can be machine washed & dried) I can't imagine if I had put them in the dryer, they would probably turn into doll clothes, save your money & buy the cheaper satin version, at leat they don't get ruined in the wash.

I bought these silk pajamas for my husband for our anniversary, and he LOVED them. They're exactly as described - cool when it's warm out, and warm when it's cool out. He wears them all the time and says they're very comfortable.
Lovely, but POOR color quality - Review written on March 08, 2007

These were a gift at Christmas, and were a deep burgundy color. they do appear to be well stitched. however, after no more than 2 hand washings in cold water the color showed alot of fading, and by the 3rd wash I knew they would have to be returned as the color fading was uneven and the tops adn bottoms almost don't look like a match anymore. the silk is soft and lovely but the color should NOT fade this fast or this much!!

My friend was very happy with them. They are very good quality, and they fit him for the most part. The only issue we had was the length of the arms. They were a little too long. Other than that, we were pleased. They got here in time for Christmas, and they were just what he wanted.

Great PJ. Really glad i got it.

It's pretty well built. I was afraid it would be a bit fragile, but so far so good.

As a reference, I'm 6'0" with roughly 200lb... I got the Large, and it's a bit tight for my taste... I'll be trading it for the XL

These silk pajamas, in my opinion, have much higher quality stitching, tailoring details, as well as a heavier weight silk than the closely priced DreamSacks pajamas.

Sizing Help:

To help clarify sizing for people (there have been conflicting reviews here), I ordered a Medium but then returned it for a L. I will probably get some minor alterations, but I don't blame the company for that...everyone is shaped differently.

I am 6'0" and weigh 175. My suit measurements are a 42" chest, 34" sleeves, and 32" pants inseam. The Medium body fit but the sleeves and pants were too short. The Large was the best fit overall, although roomier around the chest than I would prefer. But if you are my size the Large is your best option.

These are great . Well made, did ok in the wash. They also did not split at the seam after wearing them 2x . They are still cool enough for summer, but nice and warm in winter and SERIOUSLY SOFT !!!!!! By a pair for your wife, yourself They are heaven.

I was concerned that these silk PJ's would be really thin and on the cheap side. But to my surprise, they are much thicker then I thought they would be and feel like they will hold up rather well.

My husband did NOT expect these and is quite pleased with them. I am back tonight to order another pair in a different color now that I know they are worth the money I paid for them. Plus the fit was perfect. I noticed others here said their large was to big so get a smaller size...and another person said the opposite. (That confused me when I went to buy.) So I just went with my husbands normal size which is a XXL and it was absolutely perfect! :) My husband loves the feel of them and said this is by far is nicest pair of PJ's ever.

The size is perfect, color bright & looks like it will hold up after many washings. Seams looked like quality sewing unlike some I have bought in the past. I can't find anything I don't like about these.

I need to get another pair here FAST before he wears these out. lol Anyone thinking of buying these I can't help but think you will be quite pleased to say the least.

Of all men's silk PJs that I purchased over the years for my husband this is one of the best. The fabric has a nice heavy weight to it and it survives machine washing well. After reading other customers' reviews, I purchased a medium size for a person who usually wears size M and occasionally L. It turned out too small. I would recommend going one size up.

This is a good quality pajama set and was worth the price I paid with an Amazon discount. Be forewarned that the color is a really bright red though.

What a great pair of pajamas these are. So soft, non-binding, roomy, and great for lounging. I've already decided to get another pair in a different color after the holidays. Very good quality silk, well sewn and tailored. I'm normally an XL tall but the regular XL fit fine.

I normally cannot sleep in pajamas. They twist, grab hold, and drive me crazy when I sleep. I usually wake up in the middle of the night and take them off.

Normally, I get a flannel fabric. As a last resort, I tried ordering silk pajamas. The fabric is a lot nicer and I sleep very well. I love these PJs.

This is one manufacturer that gives ample measurements.
I normally get XXL, but I drown in this one. I reordered in XL.
The quality of the product seemed fine.
