I received the DeWalt batteries very quickly and in great shape, and at a fair price.

I've used these batteries before and like them. Eventually they get old and won't hold a charge so I have to replace them. These folks sell them for about a 30% discount than what I can find them locally. I can use the savings...to buy gasoline.

The XRP batteries are a little bigger than the original 14.4v XR type,that came with the drill, but snap right in. A previous review was correct,in that they don't fit in the carrying case. I took a dremel tool and shaved off the battery holding ridges (a little)on both sides of the case to make them fit like a glove. The new batteries came in less than three days. With these new XPR batteries the old 14.4v Dewalt Drill is better than new. Amazon and MYTOOLPLACE.COM --> ROCKS.

I ordered two of these for about half the price of my local hardware store. They are very strong and last much longer that my originals. Contrary to what you may have read, these newer batteries fit just fine in the orginal case that came with my drill. There is no need to modify anything.

I just used them to drill 80 or 3" long screws into brand new fence posts, and one battery almost did them all! Very happy with these.

The DeWalt products work great. However, a note of caution. I bought this battery to replace ailing Firestorm batteries, as I have the whole 14.4V firestorm pack. An earlier poster stated that this battery will work with the black and decker products. Not so. It works if you hold it on, but the battery doesn't clip into the unit. Pretty useless. I ended up purchasing the DeWalt drill pack. At least I can still use my other firestorm products with these new batteries, though I will have to hold them in to run. Oh well.

I have had my original cordless Dewalts for 12 years and this is the first time I have needed to replace batteries. The new ones seem to function just as well - here's to another 12 years out of them!

The DeWalt DC9091 14.4-Volt2.4Amp hour NiCad Pod Style Battery is a great improvment over the batterys I received with the drill. I should have looked for a drill that had these batterys with it. They are stronger and last longer in between charging. A very good buy that I would recommend.

Product arrived in original packaging and in new condition. The XRP is considerably stronger than the older version.

I have tried the cheaper rebuilt batteries but was disappointed with their life. The DeWalt battery gives better overall life. It costs a bit more but it is worth it.

Cheaper than going to home depot. No shipping charges. You can't beat that.

I purchased one of these to replace an original XR 14.4 volt battery that came with a drill/driver. Have only charged and used it once so far. The only drawback is that the XRP is a little fatter than the XR so that the carrying case does not close with the battery attached to the drill.

I priced them at Home Depot and couple of other online sources. The Amazon combination of price and free shipping beats all the rest.

The recharger batteries are working well. The entire DeWalt line is the best there is. And Amazon comes thru again. Being a former PA, I priced this out with a # of other suppliers,and Amazon beats them all on price and delivery. Thanks

I got this for my old(er) DeWalt cordless XR drill and it worked like it should have. I like the option of being able to replace just the internal battery rather then having to buy a whole unit. I haven't had this long enough to know how it will hold up compared to the two the drill came with but being a NiCad rather then NiMH I don't expect it to last forever in my environment. Overall it was less expensive to get here then my local dealer or hardware store. So if you need a batter for your DeWalt 14.4volt tool check the price locally fist to see exactly how much you will save buying it here.

This battery is an improvement over the originals, not doubt. However, my last replacement battery was a no-name brand that, in spite of being 8 months older, holds a charge longer than this battery. And it was cheaper. Unfortunately, I didn't keep record of it's source!

I have tried a lot of cordless devices and still come back to DeWalt. Their new line of extended life batteries are a nice addition and the fact that they work with all 14.4 volt devices is a plus.

If you have the olfer DeWalt 14.4 v batteries this is definitely an upgrade. (The newer charger is also excellent. In fact it revitalized by old, basically dead batteries.)

The battery was recieved on time in new condition. I have not had any problems with the product and would purchase again.

This is an original (or maybe rebuilt) Dewalt battery that was a better buy than I could get in a retail store or even a knock-off brand! With Amazon Prime I got it in two days! A great deal - I highly recommend this product!

The brand new battery pack is slightly taller, thicker and heavier than the standard pack. The drill runs much stronger than with my 8 year old packs and it lasts a long time. I didn't realize just how bad my old packs were until I got this one. This is a great deal.

The batteries charge quickly and hold their charge for MUCH longer than the original alkaline ones. Additionally, they work for all DeWalt 14.4 tools - a fact not easy to establish for certain, even though it would make sense that they would. So far, they're great.

I have owned a DeWalt cordless drill for 4 years and have had nothing bad to say about it. This rechargeable battery charges in a very short time and holds the charge for longer than some other batteries I have used. Eventually they will no longer charge back up and hold a charge, thus I stayed with the same brand because of my satisfaction.
