These are great glasses. The design is classic, clean, and unfettered. The glasses are sturdy, and they all arrived intact with a decent packing job. The price is reasonable, and they are manufactured in the USA (how rare is that!). I bought several different styles of glasses all from the Libbey Vina series (martini, red wine, white wine, champagne flutes, tall and short tumblers with a thick base), and I am very happy with all of them.

When I realized I needed some drinking glasses, I went to the internet and began a search. The prettiest and the best price were a set of Libby glasses from Amazon, so I ordered them. They were delivered promptly and I was so pleased with this purchase. My guests even commet on my pretty glasses. Thanks so much to Amazon.

I bought these glasses because they were inexpensive, while still appearing to be of good quality. A few years back, I bought an expensive set of 16 glasses at Pier One, and almost all of them are now broken because the glass was so thin. I know I'm jinxing myself, but so far, I've had this set for about 6 months and none have broken. They may not have the style of the expensive glasses, but they are much nicer quality, and WAY more affordable. I highly recommend these!

I had some different Libbey glasses that have lastest for almost a year and a half in a restaurant. These new ones are fragile even for home use. They are very pretty though!

I just got these glasses today, and I have to say the tumblers are beautiful! They are level, heavy, and shaped perfectly. They exceeded my expectations. The larger glasses are equally as wonderful. The everyday glasses are a little smaller than I am used to, but I also like oversized water glasses, so I'm sure they are normal sized for everyone else. The shipment was also packed very well, nothing was damaged. The glasses also come in the original manufacturer's box, so if you are giving them as a gift, the box looks like you bought them in person. And at this price, I may get another set for storage! I also reccommended the 12 piece Libbey Bar set!

These glasses are pretty solid, but they feel nice in your hand. Pleasant looking, they would be fine for iced tea, or cocktails. Nothing wimpy about these glasses but you don't get the feeling they belong in a truck stop diner. I like them. Libbey seems to feel they are indestructible because they are packed and shipped in the flimsiest cardboard box with nothing to keep them from rattling around in their little compartments. Just one step up from a manilla envelope. So, it's amazing only one glass was broken in route. I tried to get them to send a replacement but got another entire carton. Oookay.
Beautiful Glasses, bad packing job - Review written on July 20, 2007

These glasses are wonderful. They're just as heavy as they look in the picture so they're fun to use and durable. They are also very attractive and the two sizes in the set are perfect for any beverage!

The only problem I had with getting these glasses (and it has nothing to do with the glasses themselves) was that they were packaged very poorly. The box was not padded and was in quite bad shape when I received them. Miraculously, all the glasses arrived in one piece, which I think is more of a point in favor of their design than anything else.

Other than that, I'm really glad I got these! Fantastic value!

These were a gift for my daughter and her husband. They are very pleased with them stating that they are extra heavy and hard to tip over.

This set of glassware is exquisite! The timeless, functional design make this set one that will find a home in my kitchen cupboard for years to come. The solid, heavy base lends a feel of richness -- but at a fraction of the cost of a designer series.

These glasses are very sturdy. I purchased them in the store and have had absolutely ZERO trouble with them. The bottom of the glass is thick and does not tip easily. They go well in the dishwasher. They are two great sizes for big and small drinks. I enjoy them very much. GREAT GLASSES!!!

I ordered these glasses along with some other items. They all showed up in a large box, packed with a single wadded sheet of butcher paper. The box looked like it had been used at least once previously. The glasses were, of course, reduced to several hundred small shards.

I've broken two of these glasses in less than a month, most recently tonight when I picked up the larger glass full of milk and the entire bottom fell out. The glass I broke previously didn't take much effort either. Be careful with these glasses -- they may look like a substantial glass, but they're very delicate.
