Just what I was looking for.. simple design and well made. They arrived well packed and padded-so no broken glasses.

So glad, after reading the many reviews, that I chose this Libbey Polaris Glassware Set. It is heavy, quality, loads in my dishwasher nicely, and we use them every day, but I wouldn't hesitate in using them for company.

We love these glasses.....water does not accumulate on the top in the dishwasher, they are bottom weighted which helps my husband.......we are in our "golden years" and arthritis causes him to tip over drinking glasses easily.......but these are giving him a run for his money. He seldom comments on household items...but made a point of telling me he really likes the new drinking glasses......I bought two sets!

I purchased this glassware set because they appeared to have the simple design and stable weight that I was looking for. My expectations were fulfilled. I continue to be very pleased with their simple beauty and good quality. Useful for many varied occasions and they have a good feel in the hand.

Totally satisfied. Get your own. Don't look further, I did my research and these are by far best quality-design-price I found.

These glasses are perfect for a home with kids. My almost-six daughter is especially accident prone when it comes to drinks. The 12-oz cups are hard for even her to knock over. The rounded base allows the cup to recover when bumped. And the glasses are heavy - a little over 13 ounces apiece for both sizes. So it takes a lot to send them flying.

The only complaint I have is that the glasses don't really stack. For the tall glasses, you can fit enough of one glass's base into another glass to carry two together when cleaning up, but that's about it. For the short glasses, stacking two on top of each other is barely stable enough for storing them on the shelf. But aside from that, they're beautifully designed.

This glassware set looks gorgeous, but even better, the weighted base on each glass ensures that it won't be accidentally knocked over by your pet (or an errant elbow). One of my cats loves playing "soccer" with any upright object. He'll bat at the object -- usually a glass-- until it tips over. These Libby Polaris glasses are heavy enough to withstand his curious habit.

We purchased this as a gift for my parents, they were looking for 'sturdy' glassware. These were shipped expediently and were packaged well to ensure no damage to the glasses. The glasses are heavy and sturdy, exactly what my parents were looking for. Little counter or table dings are not expected to chip these glasses in any way. We are very pleased with this purchase.

These are very well made and are a bargain for $20. As other reviewers have said, the glasses have a nice, solid weight and feel. The walls of each glass are fairly thick also - I haven't had any mishaps yet, but they seem like they could survive tipping over in the sink, which is usually good enough to crack cheaper glasses.

I bought these glasses a month ago and love them. Nice simple design, heavy base prevents tipping, no etching so far from the dishwasher. They are much more substantial than I expected for the reasonable price. My husband, who has very large hands and hates delicate glassware, particularly likes them. I see that some other reviewers noted manufacturer's defects but my set is fine. Overall I consider these glasses an excellent buy.

These glasses are as I expected. Smooth exterior, comfortable in your hand, balanced to stay upright. I recommend for the price.

These glasses are beautiful and I love the heavy bottoms for staying in place in the dishwasher. Fit in the racks perfectly and I want another set already. Wish they made a set with all the tall glasses only, too!

I don't recommend this product. The quality is poor and you could even see bubbles in the glass. They looks cheap also.

These glasses are nearly perfect. The bottoms are weighted for stability and easy handling. They look and feel fantastic.
The only odd thing about them is that the 16oz glasses "bow" out a bit as they extend up from the base, this adds a weird visual dimension to the glasses and I think that they would be a little more aesthetically pleasing if they were uniformly cylindrical.
But for the money, you can't go wrong!

i love the flat bottom, as water doesn't collect in the dishwasher. they are slim, so they fit easily in the rack too. a great value, that looks great. 2 of the glasses were broken upon receipt. they were replaced right awy and no expense to return the broken ones!

These are very heavy feeling, nice looking glasses. Best of all since they are shipped by Amazon they are also elgible for free shipping (no filler for you Prime members).

One issue with these, if you normally stack your smaller glasses to save space, these you can't do it with.

I bought a set of these at Target last year and have received lots and lots of compliments on them! They're not only interesting to look at, but they're comfortable to use. The bottom is thick and sturdy. I have broken a few of them, but likely because I sent them flying. You can safely knock these over a few times before you lose one. Nice glassware set.

I ORIGINAL SAW THESE GLASSES AT THE STEAKLOFT IN MYSTIC CN AND ASKED THE MANAGER FOR THE COMPANY AND STYLE. I LOVE THE LOOK OF THESE.....CRYSTAL CLEAR AND THE SHAPE FITS NICELY IN MY HAND WHEN I'M DRINKING OUT OF IT. THIS GLASS COMES IN BROWN ALSO, FOR THOSE WHO LIKE THAT LOOK. BUT I LOVE THE CLEAR!! I ONLY WISH THEY WOULD COME OUT IN A SMALLER SIZE
