I have needed a new battery for a long time and finally got on Amazon and ordered the battery, well it said it was in stock but recieved an e-mail later that they were expecting a new shippment. I e-mailed back and said to send it as soon as they could and they gave me an expected date and also took off the shipping charge for the delayed shipping. I was very pleased with recieving the battery in a timely manner and would recomend buying from this supplier.

Our battle against dirt and dust had come to an end. My Roomba warrior no longer had the energy to wander further than a few inches from home. The product fits loosely into the iRobot, other than that it seems to work fine.

I thought my iRobot had broken. In fact, it was the battery that wouldn't recharge. Now I have a new battery, its back in full working order. I would recommend spending the money on the battery. It gives the iRobot a new lease of life.

The Batteries were factory packaged and shipped very fast. They perform like new, just what I expected and paid for.

When it comes to rechargable batteries this APS is great.Much better then the the old Ni/Cads. The APS bateries tend to maintain a higher power output level the the old nicads.Odd thing but the longer you use it the better it becomes.Soon it'll recharge fully in about 2 1/2 hours. I ordered this iRobot Roomba battery on 5/4 and wanted to use it within a week (since the seller Buy it Now said the battery is in stock). However after days I received an email said that the battery is on back order and I need to wait one to two weeks. Then I found out that Buy it Now already charged battery cost to my credit card, it is very hard for me to cancel the order, so I said I must wait for one or two weeks.
My conclusion is that, I will not order anything from Amazon any more, Amazon is a bad place to let a bunch of lier and cheaters to use thier website to cheat people.

I ordered this product on 5/4, today is 6/4, you told me first time I need to wait for two weeks, then one more week, now it is more than 4 weeks. When I ordered it , it says in stock; I promised my friend to get it in a week. Why you charged to my credit card immediately on 5/4, if you don't have the product? You are really a bunch of liers and cheaters. You totally waste my time, it's really a disaster.
Please tell me what to do, either return the money back ASAP or send the battery to me immediately.

There is a major bug in the IRobot software for versions prior to 2005 I believe (maybe 2004) which causes the robot to stop working and for batteries to charge improperly. They have a fix - send it to you free - and you ship it back (its a usb plug in device) free because they provide the envelope - Try the software fix before the battery.

I am not sure if this battery lasts any longer than the original. But it does last about the same. I hope the total life lasts longer than the original.

We love our Roomba! Many years of reliable service, but eventually it would not hold a charge, the run time was down to like 5 minutes. No real reliable way of determining whether the problem was in the battery or not, but we decided to spend the 60 dollars rather than buy new. The battery arrived when expected and was a drop-in replacement, have had no problems with the Roomba since.

I never got the product I ordered. No explanation, just a refund on my credit card.

Works great, my first battery completely died. I tried all the tricks mentioned in other reviews to try to revive it with no success. This was the best deal I could find online for a new battery.

My replacement battery for my Roomba arrived as scheduled. I easily replaced my old battery and was vacuuming once the battery was fully charged. No problems experienced and the purchase was very quick.

Battery doesn't last very long on a full charge. I'd estimate about 75% power of a battery from the manufacturer. I'll pay full price next time, and go to Roomba to purchase.

The battery arrived quickly, replacement was simple, works like a charm. The roomba once again gets up and onto thick area rugs.

It works great, my old battery died and now I can get two and almost three rooms cleaned before having to recharge my vac now! It's a lazy man's paradise!

The battery was shipped promptly and safely. The installation was extremely easy. After a nice charging, my little Roomba sped off to sweep the carpet with the same effectiveness and zeal as it had when new.

As you can see this is what you will be taking out so much easier to install that some of the other "build" your replacement kits. Snaps right in and off he went again.

It takes long time to charge and it only can use for about 30 mins. and the lifetime of the battery are short --less than a year.

The iRobot Roomba battery arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. Once charged my Roomba sprang to life and is now cleaning the house once more. It would be nice if there was a disposal program associated with the old battery for recycling.

The Battery was easy to install and a good price. Love my Roomba. Hopfully this gives me many more years with my Roomba.

This is a battery for your Roomba. It makes the Roomba go. It works good. If your Roomba battery is dead you should buy this battery. You don't have much choice in the matter do you? If you want your Roomba to go again, that is.

I was concerned that since the Roomba battery was cheaper at Amazon than any other source I checked, it might not be an equal replacement. I was very happy to find that the battery worked at least as well as the original, in fit and in operation. Super

IRobot products have some of the best customer support I've seen, anywhere. Just call the number (it's on the robot) and talk to them... I've repeatedly had them diagnose a problem over the phone, then send the needed replacement part for FREE.

This time, I'd waited till my warantee was so far past expired that I was embarrassed to call. So I ordered a new battery.

A little research shows that I'd actually been damaging the battery by trying to prolong its life. With many rechargeable batteries, it is important to periodically discharge it completely (or as completely as possible), and harmful to over-charge it.

With Roomba batteries, it's the opposite. The battery is actually damaged by being left off the charger too long. (This is why some of the "smarter" models will return to the charging base on their own.)

So when I tried to run it down all the way, and left it unplugged for several days, I damaged it. (Above info found on IRobot Website)

I love being able to keep my hardwood-with-area-rug floors clean, constantly. I love coming home from work to clean floors, and never having dust bunnies under the bed or clawfoot tub. I love the fact that the expensive HEPA bags on my big upright hardly ever need changing, because Roomba keeps too much dirt from building up. I love not having my long hair (or my cat's hair) turn up underfoot. I love my infant daughter's clothes not getting dirty from crawling on a dusty floor. And I love her not finding "special tidbits" in the carpet. I love starting a load of laundry, a load of dishes, and the Roomba running, then going out and enjoying myself for an hour while the housework gets done.

I've seen a Roomba pick up dust from cat litter. I've seen a Roomba pick up a marble. It's just amazing.

A waste of time and money. After fully charging the new battery, my roomba runs for 45 seconds.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the APS battery for my Roomba. The price was good and the product charged up without any problems and my Roomba is back at work doing it's job cleaning my floors.

I bought this battery as replacement for my old roomba. Received the product promply and after initial overnight chrge, worked like as supposed to. Of-course it is too early to see how long this battery lasts as I do not use roomba more than once a week. The best survey would be when I re-write after atleast a year or two of its use.
Overall I like roomba, does a great job and as a result also bought Scooba which works great. Besides the customer service is excellent where you are greeted by live person not a robot!!

I have had my Roomba for almost 3 years. I have noticed that the robot just doesn't work well without a good battery. It slowly loses capacity until the Roomba only cleans for 40 minutes, and then cannot park itself to recharge. The new battery makes all the difference. The cleaning lasts for 1 hour and 15 minutes. And the Roomba parks itself flawlessly to recharge.

I also like the price. At iRobot, the battery costs $69.00. I paid $45.00 at Amazon, and it seems to be the exact same battery. It has brought my Roomba fully back to life.

Buying a new battery brought my dead Roomba back to life. So for that, it earns five stars. But I have to pull my review down to three stars because of the fact that I even needed a battery. The original apparently identical battery that came with our robot was dead in less than a year of operating the Roomba two or three times a week. That was pretty disappointing performance for a product that costs $50 to replace. I guess I need to budget $50 every nine or ten months! But it is good to once again have my little circular friend back on the prowl for dust bunnies. . . .

Amazon has the best prices on new batteries. Since there are no substitutes available, the lowest price on a Roomba battery is very important.
