This is a nice toaster oven, however, to warrent its retail price it would have to up the quality of its craftsmanship, other than that it works great

Bought this oven for the looks. Never again. Used it almost exclusively for toast and it died before 2 years. The bottom element stopped working, so toasts only on top. Also has a significant safety issue - when you open the oven, it does not shut off. I wouldn't recommend at all, but particularly if you have small kids.

When we first took it out of the box I was a little concerned about the size of the knobs...But let me tell you...this is the best toaster oven I have ever had... and I've had 5 in my life time. There is a little lite inside the oven so you can see what your cooking. The tempature is perfect for baking and broiling. It toast a piece of bread or whatever to right level of light-medium-dark. TO SAY THE LEAST...IT IS THE BEST. I'm thinking about buying another one just to have as a gift or for a standby. You want be disappointed.
Bad DeLonghi Experience - Review written on August 30, 2006

We purchased a DeLonghi toaster oven and both the toaster and oven functions stopped working right after the one year warranty expired. We barely used this product. When contacting customer service we were told that there were no replacement parts available for our model and there was nothing we could do and nothing they would do for us. My $20 toastmaster lasted more than 15 years! This is the last time I buy a toaster based on appearance!

I was disappointed in this purchase eventhough it's a very nice looking piece. The door is a little cheap as others have said. But also the top knob had fallen off inside the package, there was no utencil to take the tray out (manual says it's included) and lastly, underneath where the top knob goes was dirt that was there from the previous user. That was disgusting. You'd think they'd clean that at some point in the reconditioning process. So far it is working okay, it is quite large and toasts fine. I'm not all too happy, good luck if you do go for this model, I hope you get a better unit. Reconditioned is always sketchy, I try to stay away when I can.
