This is my third non-stick skillet, and it's by far the best one yet. Non-stick surface seems really durable, construction is solid, handle stays cool, size and slope of sides is perfect. Not sure if I've ever had occasion to use the little helper handle and, as such, it just gets in the way, but not a big deal as potentially value added features go.
Lightweight and Great Nonstick Finish - Review written on April 24, 2007
Rating: 5 out of 5
I really like this pan. I cook A LOT, and I'm pretty picky. I have used it a few times already and just love the nonstick finish, which seems to be more slippery than other ns pans I have used. How that other poster said the egg stuck is beyond me... maybe she put it in a cold pan? I used to buy Calphalon, but their pans just don't hold up, so I thought I'd try a new brand. I also love that this pan is so lightweight (a nice surprise), it makes it so much easier to use, especially for when you have to hold it up with one hand to pour. For the price~ You just can't go wrong with this pan. Now, if the finish doesn't last, then I'll update this review, but the finish didn't hold up on the Calphalon either, so I think they all have a shelf-life regardless. Especially if you use them heavily, like I do.

I recently switched to a beautiful set of KitchenAid Clad Stainless (LOVE IT!!!), but found I needed a large nonstick skillet for eggs and such. After reading "Cook's Illustrated" (my favorite cooking magazine) I decided on a Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick. Like the article states, "All nonstick WILL eventually scratch, so don't invest so much money on a pan you'll have to eventually toss." This pan is beautifully balanced, very large with sloped sides, heats up quickly and evenly and cleans easily. I found this pan (without the helper handle) at Linens 'n Things for $[...] + a [...] off coupon + a $[...] rebate from LNT (good only if purchased by 12/3/06) = [...] What a deal! For that price, I'll live without the helper handle. You should, too.
