My new puppy chewed the old PS2 microphone, since I borrowed it I was desperate to replace it. The new PS2 microphone works great.... and the person I borrowed it from had no idea it had been replaced.

Im going to say first that this mic will NOT work for sing star or rockband. It for now seems to only work with KR games. If you dont mind having a bunch of mics laying around than buy this. I have American Idol version and its a blast. Im suprised to say I actually won the competition on the game. It gets the tone and pitch of ur voice perfectly. It makes you get into it. I now have like 5 microphones for my PS2 and thats alot but I dont really mind. It works great for me and thats all that matters!! Thanks

Bought this microphone for use with the PS2 Karaoke Revolution series on the advice of my boyfriend. It works perfectly and I couldn't be happier with it. The microphone cord is very long, so I have plenty of room to move around while singing, and the cord is also nice and thick enough to assure me that it isn't going to quit on me anytime soon (flimsy cords break or get chewed through by pets).

Ordered these microphones for Christmas to use with our playstation 2. They work great and the sound quality is perfect for our american idol and high school musical singing games.

This product worked for about a week then the mic stopped working. We love the mic but I took it to several places and they say there is a short in the mic. I ended up buying another mic locally. I was very disappointed with this purchase. I think the mic was not the mic that goes with the playstation. I think it was a clone.

This mic works very well. I use it with the American Idol game, and it works perfectly. It's great for a fun group game.

The Duets feature on Karaoke Revolution: COuntry makes the second microphone a necessity! It is a great upgrade to this fantastic party game!

This was an additional mic to go with PS2 games. The kids had a Great time doing duets!!!!

We loved this mic while we had it, unfortunately it got tangled under the chair and the cord snapped. I don't know if that says something about me or the product but the sound quality was excellant and it was the most fun we had had in a long time, I'll be looking for another one.

I ordered this as a 2nd microphone for my children at Christmas, to be used with a Karaoke Revolution game. Seems to work well and matches the one that came with the game. We have had fun with our awful voices and this mic seems to be responsive and functional.

Bought a mic to use with Karaoke Revolution Party (which only comes with one mic), but after two days one of the two mics broke.

I bought this microphone for my daughter for Christmas, and it will not work with Singstar on Playstation 2.
It was a recommended product when I bought Singstar, but it is not compatible.

We purchased this product after reading the positive reviews to use with our Sing Star Pop game.IT DOES NOT WORK WITH IT!!!! The game will not recognize the microphone. Now we are stuck with a microphone and game, neither of which will work. No separate microphones are available for purchase with the singstar game. Don't waste your money on purchasing this product!

This mic is not recognized by the Rock Band game. The description doesn't claim that it is, but it's not obvious either that it won't work with Rock Band.

I purchased 2 of these mics to be used with Karaoke Revolution series. I have KR 1, 3, Country. I bought these because of other reviewers comments and because of the Logitech name. I was not dissappointed. I have only used them with the Playstation 2 so I can only comment on it. It is very simple to use. Just plug the mic up (preferably before turning on the ps2, works better) and then set it up during the game.

The Karaoke games for the PS2 are incredibly fun. We play them with the kids; we play them with adults. We just love them! We totally crack up when we play.

Unfortunately the microphones short out very quickly (within days) and we are very careful with them.

We are going on our 6th PS2 USB microphone. If the games were not so much fun, I would not keep buying these horrendously made mic's.

We tried to use the Sing Star mic's with the Karaoke games but they are not compatible.

Logitech needs to wake up and wire these things properly.

We got two mics and love them. The cords are really long so we love that. I only wish they were marked like the Sing-Star mics. We were confused at first but figured it out. They came in the mail really fast so that was Great.

Sadly, I do not think the microphone I received works. If I could get a new one that works that would be great I would be more than willing to mail back the defective product.

I bought this microphone for my HP laptop so that me and my friends can record our voices and make songs using music studio software on my laptop.
So far this microphone works amazing for how affordable it is. Our vocals sound very professional and are not distorted.........Thanks Logitech for this wonderful creation!!!!! 5 stars

I just bought this microphone for the Singshot Karaoke web site and it works great for that.

This microphone is terrific! The game is great too! Karaoke Revolution is very funny, so we have to take care of spending so much time with it. :)

We bought this mic for the various karaoke games on playstation 2. It has been a great purchase! We bought it as a second mic to allow us to sing the duets and the two-mic mode in the karaoke games, and it has been perfect. I'd recommend it!

Great microphones for Karaoke Revolution, American Idol, etc. We use both microphones at a time for competition - works great.

The sound quality is great. It picks up sound from several inches away from your mouth. It's been dropped several times and never missed a beat.

I could have died happy when this product came out. My first microphone experience with Karaoke Revolutions (my main, well, only use for the mic) involved a headset microphone intended for use with a first person shooter that had only one earphone. My second was an expensive USB headset that worked, but was a little touchy with the direction of the mic, and eventually fell apart with all of my and other rabid karaoke fan usage.

This microphone is sturdy, has less directional issues, has good sound quality, and really makes you feel like a star.

It's actually so good that you can just manage to cheat on Karaoke Revolutions by turning up the artist vocals up high and the accompaniment and sound effects down low and holding the microphone up to the tv. I don't recomend this because you will still get a pretty low score and besides, Cheating is WRONG! (But it sure was hilarious when I couldn't pass one song in the "campaign" mode!)

I have to say that the headset was fun, but not nearly as practical or sturdy as this microphone is. Choose this one, especially for kids!

I am glad I purchased these microphones. They can cost up to $50.00 in stores for two microphones so I was glad to see that these were available at a reasonable price. I haven't had any trouble with the microphones. I would recomend them to everyone.

American Idol is a great game and lots of fun.

It's not the mic that comes with the game when you purchase it from the store, so I was a bit leery. But it has offered myself, my friends, and my family hours of countless fun. Thanks so much!

I have both the Logitech microphone and the rebranded "Konami" version of the same microphone that comes bundled with Karaoke Revolution American Idol edition. They work great so far, but I've only had them for a week, and am a bit scared of the seemingly high failure rates of the mics after a few weeks/months. We'll just have to wait and see!

These mics are a bit lighter and cheaper feeling than the SingStar mics (which are not compatible with Karaoke Revolution). The cords are super long, which is pretty nice if you want to move around. I keep them wrapped up when everyone's just sitting on the couch to play. Oh, and just for kicks, I plugged in the mic into my iMac. It detected immediately as a Logitech USB Microphone and it works great!

CONSIDERING ITS A MUST TO BE ABLE TO PLAY AMERICAN IDOL, IT WORKED GREAT.

I received my microphones in excellect condition...my friends and I spend hours using them every week to play Karaoke!

I must say that I am a little disappointed in the actual game. The person who sent me the mics did a great job and had the product at a very good price. I was not disappointed with the supplier just the American Idol Game. First of all I was unaware of the Sing Star mics would not work with the other games so I had to purchase them seperately and I was not a happy person. When I finally got to play the Idol game it was really hard to read the words at the bottom because they are very small and they pass by way to fast. I think if I had played the Idol game first I wouldn't have been so disappointed.

Need another mic to play two player - the game and mic are a ton of fun!
