Honestly, I cannot believe the positive reviews this product has received here! I find I can usually rely on amazon reviews for good information, but this is a truly awful DVD. It's full of superficial, meaningless stories and silly clay dolls with beady little black eyes and no human expression whatsoever.
There are SO many more worthwhile shows for this age group out there: Little Einsteins, classic Sesame Street (Cookie Monster's Best Bites, for example), The Wiggles...the list goes on and on. Keep looking!

I have a 20 month old girl that watches these over and over. She likes the wiggles, and bear in the big blue house and similiar shows.. but she loves the little people dvd's .. we just took a recent 12 hour car trip and several of these dvd's helped us stay sane on the way :)

My 2 1/2 year old grandson, Justin, is a huge fan of the Little People. It's such fun for him to see some of his favorite toys come to life on the TV. He joins in on the songs. These are sweet, gentle stories about friendship, love, and caring. Perfect for a toddler.

His cousin Skylar, my 4 month old granddaughter will also eventually enjoy from these DVDs

I didn't even realize there were Little People DVDs! Since my grandaughter loves all her Little People toys,I decided to try this selection and the" Fun To Learn Collection. She loves both,but I really appreciate the lessons about friendship in this one,and that wonderful song that runs throughout, I can't get it out of my head,LOL! Just adorable and so colorful. These should be in every parent/granparent's library!

Alexander just loves these videos! We have been watching just 2 videos since he was 15 months old and he's now almost 2 and he is still captivated by them. They keep his attention while I take a shower. They are quite a value at this price!

We love this Little People DVD, it is cute and refreshing. Very adorable! We don't mind hearing this over and over again in the background as our 26 month old daughter watches (she's been hooked on the LP shows since she was 6 months old!). It has a pleasant sound and clean-cut teachings. Not grating to the nerves like Dora the Explorer and Blues Clues. The only thing I would like to change is the DVD Menu. Right now, the episodes play 5 at a time - I wish it gave the option of playing all 10 back-to-back. Otherwise, fantastic DVD with 10 great LP episodes! Another good one is the Creativity Collection! Just avoid the Storytime Collection as it is half repeats and almost nothing new.

My 20 month old daughter just loves this DVD! We have many other children's DVDs but this remains her favorite. She stays interested the entire time. Maybe I should purchase some other Little People DVDs, but for now we'll stay with this one, she's in love!

Another great Little People dvd. We have them all along with most of the toys, very cute.

I have a 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 that love the little people videos! They are glued to the screen for any of them - Teach great morals!

I'm not sure what it is about the "Little People" movies that is so exciting, but both my children love them. We received a short movie free with a fisher price toy we purchased and they were mesmerized by the movie. I recently purchased this DVD and they love it. Packed with ten short episodes, it's not too long and not too short. This is about the only movie they will sit down and watch the whole way through. We love it!

Diversity, Manners, Kindness, Community, Animals....Little People have it all. We were so excited to get them on DVD. We have all 12 of the VHS tapes. My 2 year old has been watching them avidly since she was under 1. The music is fantastic, and the lessons are wonderful.

This DVD originally came out as two separate VHS tapes and you don't know how excited we are for the DVD release. The Little People are a lovable claymation characters and in the Discovering Frienship episodes, they present the concepts of sharing and looking out for one another. After awhile you'll find your toddler singing along to the songs and eventually you'll catch yourself singing a chorus or two!

Each episode presents different dilemmas that can conflict friendship and creatively, Michael, Sonya-Lee, Maggie, Sara-Lynn and Eddy works things out. A MUST HAVE in your Little person's DVD library.
