This is a quality product, heavy and built to last. As a trained chef, I know that this pan will provide years of use if properly cared for. Note that you need to monitor your baking time carefully, as it is heavy duty and retains more heat than thinner aluminum pans. Your product will continue to cook longer once removed from the oven. Overall, great product at a great price. Continue to monitor baking long before its due to be finished.

I purchased two of these several weeks ago and have used them multiple times with absolutely wonderful results! They are wider then most "loaf" pans, but I have found I prefer it now. In regards to the reviewer who stated that they mar easily, I hand wash all my non-stick bakeware because even though they state "dishwasher safe" I'd rather err on the side of caution. I also place a paper towel between the pans to prevent rubbing that may damage pans in storage (a little trick I learned from my Grandma years ago). Call me cautious, but money doesn't come easily and I like to take care of my bakeware! :)
DISAPPOINTED! - Review written on April 07, 2007

I am very disappointed in the quality of this pan.
The pan came with minor defects and easily scratched
in storage. My guess is Cuisinart need to put "chef"
in front of description to sell product. In this case,
you get what you paid for @ $6.99. I returned the pan.
GREAT loaf pan - shallower and wider than average - Review written on February 10, 2007

Very nice loaf pan. Shallower and wider than what I think of as an "average" loaf pan -- meaning it holds the same total amount as the Pyrex loaf pan I already had, just in a wider shape (which I prefer).
Great quality, nonstick coating, cleans up easily. Nice, heavyweight metal. I am definitely glad I paid a couple of extra bucks to "upgrade" from the bottom-of-the-line loaf pans.

We're a food allergy family, so I'm baking bread 2-3 times a week. My mother-in-law bought this pan for me last Christmas, and I've used it roughly 125 times since. It works beautifully. My only caution is that the directions say that the non-stick surface will not need spray or oil for most applications. Well, for gluten-free baking I would beg to differ... Unless you want to naw that loaf out of the pan, you'd best use a bit of spray.
Can't wait to bake more bread. - Review written on November 15, 2006

These are infinitely better than my old loaf pans. Very heavy and sturdy feeling. Update: Having used them much more, I still think they're wonderful. Loaves slide right out without any difficulty whatsoever, and everything is perfectly evenly browned and lovely. I really love these.

Pan had no cracks or scratches. Works as expected. Easy to clean. Just remember, this is not made out of teflon. So don't forget to grease the pan before baking.

These pans are Very nice - light colored on the inside they don't make the crust too dark, and they are very heavy & substantial. They are also non-stick, and I imagine I can cook chicken in there too! The reason I did not give them 5 stars is they are slightly wider than I would like, which seems to prevent the bread from proofing quite as high.

I received this pan and right away I made banana bread in it. I can't believe how heavy it is and the price is great. The bread came right out and baked evenly. I just love it.

I have used this pan for several months and it is wonderful! It cooks evenly and clean up is so easy because nothing sticks to it. Heavy weight pan - highly recommended!
