I had to buy this replacement when I accidentally broke the original. This new one is much better! NO leaks or drips when you pour your coffee.

We broke the original carafe, and you cannot find a generic replacement carafe that is thin enough at the base or tall enough to hit the spring that releases coffee from the filter. Carafe works great, but overpriced.

Lid doesn't fit properly but what's a person to do? You buy the coffeemaker and expect the MANUFACTURER replacement to be the same as the one you received with your machine. It isn't. Poor manufacturing will result in me changing to a Bunn. They're consistant.

As you might guess, I broke the original carafe that came with my Cuisinart coffee maker, and was happy to find this one on Amazon, which also had the best price compared to other internet sources. The glass on this replacement carafe is noticeably thicker and more durable than the original one. Aside from this improvement, it's exactly the same as the original, fits perfectly in the coffee maker, and still makes great coffee like before.

Amazon is unfair.

You cannot purchase a replacement carqfe for coffee maker any where locally although they sell the coffee maker in home improvement stores and nicer department stores, NOT ONE OF THESE STORES SOLD REPLACEMENT CARAFES resulting in purchasing one online at a much higher price and significant shipping and handling fees. Had I known this when I when shopping for a coffee maker, I would have steered clear Cuisinart. I love the coffee maker, but this is a racket.

The coffee carafe arrived in perfect condition and it arrived promptly. It is the exact model that we needed.

When I broke the carafe on my Cuisinart coffee maker, we started looking for a replacement - my husband went to one store, and I searched many local stores websites to no avail. We found that just because stores sell the coffee maker, does not mean they have the replacement carafe in stock. I searched on Amazon, saw exactly what I needed, reasonably priced and had it at my door within a few days. Running all over town just doesn't make sense!

Our original carafe broke, no one knows how. Our office was scared, rumors of no coffee spread quickly amongst the floor. The was quiet talk of a strike. The idea of no coffee was terrifying. Drink tea? Not a chance. Orange juice? No way! In comes Amazon to save the day! Whipped out the credit card and logged in. Amazon + Prime, how we love thee. Less than 24 hours later a new 12-cupper arrived at our door, and in no longer than 3 minutes, it was introduced to its proper home. Two minutes later, it had 12 cups of delicious Columbia Supremo in it. Ah, the wonder.

This was the exact replacement carafe for the one I broke on my cuisinart coffee maker. Total no brainer - found on Amazon for a good price because Target nor anyone else near me carried the replacement.

My tip: Pay for overnight shipping so you don't have to wait too long for coffee. I used SS shipping and it seemed like weeks before I had morning coffee again.

The lid or top fits too tight. Difficult to remove. If it wasn't so much trouble I'd send back for a replacement lid.

The pot was the perfect match/fit, even though my coffeemaker is a discontinued model. It was a bit pricey, that is my only complaint.

This product is exactly what we needed to replace the original carafe that was accidently dropped on the counter top.

I have broken 2 in 2 years of normal use (not dropped or hit hard) buy 2 - you'll need a spare soon! Way over-priced.

I haven't received it yet, but I wanted you to know that it didn't take three to six weeks, or whatever insane amount of time it suggested. It shipped three days from when I ordered it.

This coffee carafe is exactly like the one original carafe that came with my DCC-1200. Nothing really to say about it other than I am extremely excited to be drinking coffee again!

This is an excellent example of soaking the consumer. You can buy an entire coffee maker for the price of this carafe, but once you've committed to the Cuisinart coffee maker, you've got to buy their replacement carafe only because nothing else will fit. And it's not terribly well made (fairly thin glass), which is why the original one broke so easily.

But it does make good coffee. Just be careful washing the carafe.

There is nothing so satisfying as paying $25 to replace a brittle carafe for a $79 coffee maker.

Product is same as the original. Very quick delivery but I had to buy a second item in order to get the "free" shipping. The carafe was about $2.00 short. Kind of a rip off but.....

The best coffee maker that I have had and so I needed a extra pot

I love this coffee maker but the I have had bad luck withe carafe cracking. I've been through two carafes and had to purchase a 2nd coffee maker while the new carafe was being shipped (a cheap one from the local grocer). That was the worst thing about it. I'm glad to see it is available through Amazon Prime now since it took 3 weeks for me to recieve a new Carafe from Noble Sales. Beware of that retailer.
