My son (11 years old) and I have played this together and had a blast. It is fun to watch him play alone too. When his cousins come over they all take turns playing together and seem to really like it. Great fun for rainy days!

With a hot summer I found my kids 7 & 10 playing more and more video games - we purchased the eye toy and they had a blast getting up and moving, the interaction was alot of fun.

I ordered this for my sson because we could not find it in the store. Little did I know that I actually saved a lot of money by ordering it here. He loves it! He actually thinks it is good exercise for him as well! It was easy enough for my 10 year old to figure out how to hook up and operate completely on his own. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Eye toy is the best game you could ever get and if you think it is expensive well IT IS WORTH IT

First off the eyetoy is a great game/peripheral. Next it's getting some new games, as well as it will be useable on the next gen console PS3. Third it is usable as a webcam on the pc. In fact, it is a fantastic webcam. Only you need to download a .inf (a driver) for the webcam. There's tutorials out there. Google it.

You can read that the Eyetoy is a great "toy" in other reviews, but I just wanted to say that you can use it as a webcam on your PC by just plugging it into your computer's USB port.

Seriously. You could just hold up a finger close to the camera lens and just wave it back and forth. That is a perfect way of cheating. The game is not bad after all.

The only little machine on earth that allows you to shake your booty... and earn points for it!

I kerp on thing the EyeToy camera was dum but when I played It it was cool.My favrite game is kun-fu.

This ' game ' is decent fun. It's VERY innovative and capable. ( I've heard of it soon being able to hook up online and you'll be able to chat with people. ) This game is just repetetive. And a workout! There are times when at the end of the day when I played this when my arm was about to fall off. Buy this though if you want a strange, original, yet obvious idea, ' game ' . You most likely will not be too dissapointed in your first few outings with it.

The Eyetoy is an interesting idea in videogames... a camera that actually maps your movement onto the screen. I love the idea, and I love that the technology now exists. However...

For the amount of money involved, Sony could have invested in a higher quality camera. The image is too fuzzy to be satisfying, the unit detects light and dark spaces poorly, and adjustment is a pain. Though the camera is a fun toy, it need stweaking before I can take it seriously as a lasting accessory.

My kids loving playing all the games with the PS2 and if you look online search for eyetoy drivers and this little gadget works as a webcam. I use it with Yahoo messenger and it works great... I have windows XPsp2 and you just plug it into one of your pc's USB ports and you are good to go.

The Eye Toy is a USB camera that plugs into your PS2. This game has 12 mini games, including many other features, such as a Video Messaging option. You can save your message to a memory card,(although a full 60- second clip takes up at least 7,800 KB of memory, which is about 10-1/4 of the entire card). When the neighborhood comes over, we go straight to the Eye Toy. One of our favorite hobbies is recording a 60-second video while all the others go away. The recorder tells the others to come in, and then we watch the video. Of course, we never save. The only con about this is that if you want Eye Toy: Antigrav, both always come with the camera, unless you have found a rare just-disc offer. Very Fun. 5 of 5 stars.

I got this toy for Christmas.My tv is a tv on a ledge that almost touches my ceiling.So when I went to go "set up the eyetoy", I was afraid that the eyetoy wouldn't be able to see me if it was so high.Well I decided to put it on my Playstastion 2 which is lower.Then I thought it would be too low.I saw that you can adjust the camera.All you have to do is move the camera up and down to face you!!!!Also,all you have to do is plug the camera int the front of your ps2.You don't have to worry about tons of cords and wires.Along with the camera is a game for the ps2.The game has a lot of fun stuff to do.One of the games is, you wash windows with your hands.Another one is you get to be in a boxing match against someone on the screen.This camera and game are GREAT!!!!!!!!

This little camera is incredible. Puts you right into the heart of the game and keeps kids excersizing in the process. Any of the titles which load properly would be enjoyable for everyone. My recommendation would be to try them all and decide which is most appealing. PS2 has done it again and hopefully there will be more titles to capitalize on the success of this format.

Recently purchased the Eye Toy. It is absolutely amazing. There is not one moment where my children are motionless and this is a good change from the normal video game use. I have noticed periodic delays in the action commands, however the light intensity within the room is fine. Near future enhancements of the Eye Toy would improve greatly with sound capability wherein the game which plays "copy cat" the children could hear themselves yell back. It is a welcome change within the winter indoor activities and will keep the children's physical aspects maintained as close as possible to their normal outdoor play intensity. I've never seen my children literally "sweat" playing a video game and this one definitely does it.

This is the most fun Play station game we own. We have had it almost a year now and it is just as good as I thought it would be when I purchased it.

We have had children as young as 4 and adults as old as 65 thoroughly entertained by Eye Toy. Not having controllers makes it easy for just about anyone to play.(Yes, even video game illiterates!) We especially enjoy that it provides exercise for our daughter and friends versus sitting immobile playing other games.

We recommend this to anyone who wants to get silly and have fun while getting exercise!

the only reason I go on this is for excercise but just like it gets boring the more you play on it the less tired you get so you won't be breathing hard like you do when jogging for a long time. The beat freak game is my favourite because it does not get boring...the 2 best songs are sing it back and boogie night(I don't listen to this kind of music but it goes great with this mini game).

We just bought this after seeing it at my duaghters preschool at it is great. We had five kids playing it ranging from ages 5 to 11 and they all loved it.

I agree that it would be nice if there were more games you could by for it and their does need to be plenty of light in order for it to work...but none the less the kids loved it and I can tell it is going to be a favorite for them.

Ok, you can have a lot of trouble because of the USB camera (I have trouble with it) but who cares? The game has mini-games like Wishi-Washi, Kung-Foo, Boxing Chump, Rocket Rumble, and more! Since DDR Extreme can be used with the USB camera, you might want a big screen for a big crowd. This game is the best technology of all Video games, other than the duck hunting game with a gun, this game rox.

This thing is great for the kids especially, say like for a birthday party. It really works best with a group of people. I have two children myself and they dont even play it together anymore. The worst things about it is that the lighting has to be just right or its hard to play and the kids got bored with the games very quickly. There really is no strategy to the games whatsoever. Its sort of mindless. It would be nice if there was another game pack for it. I'm tossed whether i would recommend it. Maybe for larger families it would be fun.

Finally! I video game that mom can feel good about letting the kids spend hours playing! For the first time, the kids are getting EXERCISE while playing a video game. You're really in the game while you box, kick and jump your way through all the exciting games. I joined in with the kids and was actually breathing hard after a couple of games. This game is fun for the whole family. We give it a "two thumbs up". We paid full price and would do it again! Buy it and start the fun! It really is incredible.

My kids ages 8,6,3 LOVE this eye toy. I have never laughed so hard at the cute video messages they leave me. They get alot of excercise and its fun to watch to see who gets the highest score on the games. Its alot fun I highly recommend this. I am glad we purchased the eye toy!

I GOT MY EYETOY YESTERDAY AND I HAVE PUT ABOUT 8 HOURS OF PLAY TIME INTO IT. I REALLY LOVE SOME OF THE GAMES AND THE VOICE AND VIDEO MESSAGING IS WONDERFUL I DID A BUNCH OF FAKE COMMERCIALS THAT WERE REALLY STUPID AND MY FRIENDS GOT A KICK OUT OF IT.IF YOUR LOOKING AT THE FRONT OF THE BOX AND ON THE RIGHT SIDE ARE THE LEAST FUN GAMES, BUT ALL THE OTHERS ARE "WILDLY ADDICTING" IIF U DO BEAT FREAK WITH SOME LIKE 7 POUND WEIGHTS ITS A REALLY GOOD WORKOUT! MY 3 YEAR OLD NEPHEW LOVES IT SPECIALLY THE PLAYROOM I RECCOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

The games on Eye Toy are really cool but you can get really bored of playing some of the games over and over. Out of the 12 games you can play games by savimg your friends, playing soccor, destroying ghost,spinning plates,washing windows, boxing, being a dancing diva, and becoming a kung fu fighter. Before you start Eye Toy the game will tell you some really good tips and before each game I'd recomend reading the instructions first.

IF you want EYETOY THINK AGAIN!!!! EYETOY is very good and is fun only it has one problem you need PS2 to use it!!! PS2 is a Terrible Console BAD GRAPHICS Worst games (exept eyetoy it rocks) HOWEVER if you want PS2 just so you want EYETOY dont get it. HOWEVER if it was ON GAMECUBE or XBOX get it. GAMECUBE has the BEST games and made from the good old company NINTENDO maker of Game Boys And XBOX best graphics and no memory cards needed. PS2 has NONE of those Good features Dont get EYETOY cause its for the PS2

EYE toy is very good and I want to have it and listened to the good reviews but people you remember this YOU NEED PS2 TO GET IT :-( its sad cause PS2 is the worst console on the market and the worst console ever has the best Toy ever!!! PS2 sucks bad graphics breaks really easy and is really Expensive. Get the gamecube instead If EYETOY was on XBOX or GAMECUBE you MUST get eyetoy. Dont get PS2 because of eyetoy. Eye Toy is outstanding! I bought this for my son's 6th birthday, and now the whole family is hooked. Watching my 68-year-old father-in-law do the Disco game is worth triple what I paid for it!

The selection of games packed with it is great, with our favorites being the Ninja game and the bubble popping game. The response is super-fast, and I'm stunned that the Playstation is able to run such an incredible game with almost no flaws.

As other reviewers have said the controls take some getting used to, but learning to wave your hands in the air is better than going off-camera to find the controller and push buttons.

We love the game, and we're getting a workout equivelant to twenty minutes on the treadmill everytime we fire it up. Great stuff!

We bought this for my 13 year old son and he's played it for hours. Every kid whose played it with him has fallen in love with it. Adults even get in on the fun!

I was on a gadget kick last week and bought myself a PlayStation 2 Eye Toy Camera. I admit I thought it would be silly - but it has turned out to be AMAZINGLY fun!

We got the EyeToy bundled with a copy of EyeToy Groove - a dance game. I know that the regular games that come with the base Eye Toy system are sort of cheezy, but EyeToy Groove is SUPER fun. The song selection and movements are great single player and multiplayer. It's like a dance pad for the top half of your body!

I'm going to review Groove separately, so let me just talk about the Eye Toy component here. The camera was incredibly easy to use and install. You just plug the cable into the USB port beneath your controller spot, and POOF it's on. A red light lets you know if its too dark in the room, but we didn't have any trouble using it day or night. A ring lets you focus it so you are crisp and clean on the screen.

We played many multi-player games and it had no problem at all sensing our movements and creating really cool video effects around us. I can easily see that this camera will be useful in all sorts of games and applications, especially as more PS2 Online games come out.

Highly recommended - especially if you can get your hands on the Groove software!

I was at a party last weekend and this was the best thinhg there!! I love it. In fact I'm going to buy one today!

My friend Kali has this game, and once she brought it over. Kali, my brother, her sister, and i played for HOURS! I think the most fun feature is the make a movie part. We made like, 25 movies. Most of them were dumb, though...
Any way, i think the eye toy is super fun!!!
