This is a good toy but my 10 year old either does not have the attention span or its too boring for him to play for more than a short while. I have some reservations recommending more little plastic things around the house. If the child is truly a spy freak (mine is not) it would probably be quite fun.

My 8 yr old son got this for a gift and he just loves it - he plays and plays with it with his 11 yr old brother. Very cute and worth the money!

We are going on almost a year of having this spy kit, and my two boys are still playing with them. It is a hit with all their friends.

The voice scrambler is the best of the gadgets. It really works. The motion detector has also gotten a lot of use.

The only gadget we have had troubles with is the listener. The kids have to remember to turn it off. If you forget and accidently leave it on for a day, the batteries are dead.

Anyway, this is definately a kit that gives you your money's worth of play. I'm glad I bought it.

My acting school does movies ( and good ones ) . So this time we were making an original spy movie. I bought all of the spy gear made from Wild planet from the official website. When we tested them they were wonderful! Nothing like them! They worked very well, and we took care of them. A girl dropped her goggles and we thought they were broken, but they were not! I have no idea if that was a miracle but they are very durable from what I see! A million stars!

You state you have to have 22 AAs and somewhere else you state you need 2 AAs. I looked in an Argos catalogue and it said 2 AAAs.

From mom - they love gadgets, and this is full of them. Their favorite is the "listener" that picks up noises from a distance and has an earphone. They also love the voice scrambler.

My sister and I got the spy kit for Christmas. Mine works great! I love it! Her motion sensor did not work at all. We are getting a new one. We both love the voice changer. It cracks us up. My friends love to use it too.

Each piece really works and my son loves it. It has been a year and he still plays with it.

This kit is amazing. My friend got for his birthday on 2000, still working like new. But the bad part is that the motion detector doesn't work all that good. You have to screw on the batteries. Althought the listening device is really cool,and the voice thing. (Whoever said the listening thing doesn't work is crazy. You can hear from possibly 10-15 ft away.)

I tolded my mom to buy me this and it is the most boring thing ever!!! DONT BUY IT!!!!!! First The Ear Listener Is cheesy. If you Take it out your ear you can here the same thing. The Motion detector only goes off if someone touches the lens. But Who would do that. The Telescope is okay. The Voice changer is cool though. I would only Buy a voice changer if you could. This is an exellent toy for kids of all ages. I've had it fora year and it still runs. Perfect stocking stuffer, boy toy, this is for any occasion. I like the micro listener the best. Spying never gets old with the micro kit. Dads this is a toy you will enjoy.

This toy was the best. It' so cool you really feel like a spy agent. Me and my sister plays missions with it. It's so fun. But it's not very educational so not much to comment on that. But it's really fun. You feel like batman! You deffinatly should get this!

This belt kit brings together 4 toys that are in other package deals or available separately, but at a better price here. And the waist belt is really nice, with a special slot clip for each item; it is adjustable and is a nice durable nylon webbing material. We have had no problems with it or the belt clip. You can also wear the belt over your shoulder like a bandolier, and it look really cool to the kids that way. You can see separate reviews at Amazon on each of the separate 4 toys that are on this belt. They are the Micro Voice Scrambler, Nightspyer night Mini-Scope, Spy Motion Alarm and Micro Listener, and I have to tell you this belt gives Batman's utility belt a run for it's money. A reviewer had problems with the motion detector, but ours has worked really well over the last year.

The "Micro Voice Scrambler" is one of the kids favorites, it is great for playing on the phone, or just goofing off with each other and it is nice to hear them laughing so hard while they play with its settings. It not only changes the tone, but the speed of the voice so you can sound deep and slow like Darth Vader, a robot voice, or a baby voice, or the chipmunks high speed voice. The "Spy Motion Alarm" works good, it can be placed anywhere you need an audible alarm to let you know if the enemy is coming. The battery lasts a long time, and a tiny red LED on one side lets you know if it is on. It has a range of about 20 feet for detecting motion. The spy micro listener allows you to hear footsteps and whispers over 30 feet away. The "Nightspyer night Mini-Scope" is basically a set of mini-binoculars with a hidden pop-up flashlight. This toy is the weakest of the 4, and is more for pretend action than anything else. The other 3 actually do what they say and are very worthy little gadgets.

The toys are durale and none have broken in the year we have had it. Spy Gear sells other toys like the Micro Scope that have their own clip built in, and so you could add it to this belt. All of these are great fun for hours of spy play, camping, or just backyard fun and the price is right.

As a nine year old kid who is an only child, it's awesome. My friend and I love it. The Voice twister is awesome and I've had it since Christmas of '04 and it's batteries haven't been changed yet. I highly advise you buy this toy.

hi im 11 years old and i just bought this toy at target. This has all you need to spy on your sister :-D!The night Spyer is my favorite toy in this package.I would totally reccomend this toy!

I love every single toy but my favorite gadget is the voice changing thing. It really works!!!!!!! when you hold down the record button you say somthing and then you press play and you can adjust to a higher pitch or a lower pitch. Make sure you don't loose the instructions though. If you do you probably aren't going to figure out the tracker device. THIS TOY IS WORTH THE CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 7 years old. I am a girl. My favorite gadget is the listener. I like the listener the best because you can hear very well. The motion sensor is very loud. It's even sensitive to light and shadows. I put it by my bedroom door so if someone enters during the night, it wakes me up. The binoculars work really well in the dark. When you press the button a red light shines where you're looking.

Overall, this is the best gift ever. My mom got it a Target. We looked all over the internet and they didn't have it. So my mom found it for me.

I got this toy about a year ago at a target. It is so much fun because it has a cool belt that you can wear instead of having to carry around all 4 devices.

The MOTION SENSOR is my personal favorite because I can see if anybody is entering the room I am working in. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is that it is very loud. Somebody will know you are in there by the noise. I wish it just lighted up!

The VOICE SCRAMBLER is a basic recorder except that you can move a lever and your voice is scrambled.

The SONIC EAR is a thing that magnifies the sound into the headset.

The LASER BINOCHULAR is the dummest and last thing in the set. It has a fake laser and it has binochulars built into it (with only one view hole).

The SPY BELT is the most conveniant thing. It has a compartment
for each device.

Overall, it is an awesome toy! If you take my advice, you will leave this computer wanting this toy.

This is a very cool toy. I really like the voice changer. I've used the night spier for a few important things. I really love the utility belt because I can carry all the gadgets easily. I would recommend asking for it for your birthday or Christmas because it's like what $20.

This is a really really great toy. The motion detector is very sensitive, and works unless there is no or extremely dim light. The voice scrambler is really cool. It can make your voice low and slow, or high and fast like a mouse. I love hearing my voice like a mouse! The micro listener is great because I can listen to my brother and my dad talking or my mom and my dad talking all the way down in the living room from my room (my room is upstairs & the living room is downstairs)! The nightscope works well, too. You really can see in the dark. The only bad thing about it is that you can't really focus it, so it doesn't work as well in smaller spaces. That's about it. I have to go watch the Olympics, so bye for now!

Calling all spies! The Micro spy kit is really cool! The NIGHTSPYER mini-scope is great for snooping around in the dark. The voice scrambler is excellent for passing top- secret messages. The spy motion alarm is great for keeping secure areas secure, and the spy micro listener is great for listening in on secret conversations and picking up top-secret info. Anyway, on to the REVIEW. My favorite part of this kit is the NIGHTSPYER mini-scope because it's small, yet it's good for taking a closer look in the middle of the night. This toy is really cool! Buy it!!!

This toy is really fun. My favorite attachment is the voice scrambler. My ten-year-old sister likes to use the Micro Listener. My eleven-year-old sister likes the Voice Scrambler, too. You should get this toy.

This toy is great! The NIGHT SPYER really works well. It can see in even the darkest places. The detector is nice and sensetive [and loud....], and it sounds even when there is a little bit of light. The voice changer lowers your voice, but besides that, it works great. The listener is the best thing in the micro kit. You can hear voices from REALLY far away, and through walls. The durability of this toy is ......ok, but it won't last long if stepped on or dropped. The educational value is bad because there is nothing educational. But it is SO MUCH FUN! Buy this toy! You won't be dissapointed!

Spy Micro kit is awesome!!! The Detector is great and sensitive, The night spyer is good for magnifying and seeing in the dark, the voice changer didn't really work but I still liked it, and the listener really worked! The only bad thing is that the voice changer lowers the volume of your voice and most of what you hear with the listener is backround noises but you can still hear better. I defenitly reccommend this item!!

My 8 year old had some birthday money left over and suggested we do some research on the internet for spy gear. After an exhaustive search he decided on the micro kit. He was not disappointed. Everything worked right out of the box with the exception of the motion detector which needs 4 triple A batteries and a small phillips head screwdriver. The best tool is the night spyer as the magnification works very well and the red spotlight is cool looking. The motion detector is a little too sensitive as it went off without much (and sometimes nil) motion. But better to be too sensitive then not to work at all. The spy listener worked well also as my son stood in his room and whispered and I could hear him perfectly. Without the spy ear I could not make out a word he said. The voice scrambler was very cool also. Although the sound is tinny it doesn't really matter as you use it to alter your voice anyhow (it also alters the speed of what you say). The belt holds everything conveniently and clips securely. Is it durable? If you throw it around or step on it, it won't last long. But with some care it should last. I didn't feel that it was shoddily made. If you consider that you get 4 really great spy tools it is definitely worth the money. Your child will not be unhappy.
