This is a great steamer! The basket is nice and deep, and it cleans up well. The glass lid is nice to be able to see the progress of the food. The only reason I gave this four stars is that the term "Universal" is a bit misleading. This is much too small to fit in a stockpot, but it works nicely in any saucepan, since it is so deep

I replaced my plastic electric steamer (that made my vegetables taste funny) with this steamer insert and I am happy with the results. My vegetables taste like vegetables and are not overcooked. The steamer cleans well and I don't have to worry about toxic residue on my food.

Heavy duty, great for steaming veggies, buns, Chinese food, put rice in a bowl and cook it also - has a see through lid which is the "icing on top of the cake".

This is an excellent addition to my Circulon Cookware. It fits inside many of my pots and steams to perfection.

Very nicely constructed item that will fit several sizes of cookware. Great steamer, we use ours all the time.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I RECEIVED IT RECENTLY AND HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS OF STEAMING MY VEGETABLES...THE GLASS COVER MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE AND IT TRULY DOES THE JOB. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYONE WHO STEAMS REGULARLY AND WANTS SOME PRODUCT THAT IS EXTREMELY EASY TO CLEAN AND MAINTAINS ITS INTEGRITY.

I am pleased with my purchase. I have not had a chance to use it but I am looking forward to it. The quality of the steamer is good because it is Circulon and I can't wait to steam some veggies and just enjoy!

It's a very nice product; I love it right after I got it. But it maximum fit 8 inches, I thought it's 9.6 inches, so I have to return it.

I bought one of these a few years ago to replace one of those collapsible in-pot devices that kept falling apart. This works great ! The variable sized bottom is wonderful because I can use several sized saucepans and don't have to worry about having a specific one available. I love this so much that I bought one for my parents for Christmas and even waited 3 months for it to be in stock (they just got it). My mother, who loves to cook healthy, tossed her collapsible unit and raves about this as well.
