Joe Pesci, David Spade, and Todd Louiso are the ones who keep this movie interesting and funny. Oh, and the lady who plays the grandmother. Everyone else seems be going through a "bad acting" virus. Veterans George Hamilton and Dyan Cannon just seem like they'e only doing this movie because work for them is hard to come by these days. And who is that John Cusack wannabe who is the star of the movie? This movie would have better off with the real John Cusack. But joe, David, and Todd provide all the comic relief for this dark comedy.
The movie is about a duffel bag switch at the airport, one of which contains 8 heads being delivered for the mob. That says it all right there.
In some stores, this dvd is available for a very good price. If you find it at one of those stores, I definitely recommend this dvd. Fans of Joe Pesci will also be impressed with this dvd.
8 Heads in a Duffle Bag - Review written on February 10, 2000

If you ever have traveled in an airplane and mixed up your bag with someone else's, this is the movie for you.
In spite of the gruesome name and plot of this movie, in which, Joe Pesci, a gangster tasked with delivering a duffle bag of eight heads removed as evidence of a mob ordered hit, the movie manages to be hilarious.
What happens is that Pesci's bag of severed heads gets mixed up with the bag of a hapless medical student going to meet his fiance's family for a trip to a lovely Mexican resort hotel.
How Pesci tries to retrieve his bag and the student tries to conceal the ghastley luggage he has inadvertently brought with him to the resort and all the mix-ups in between keeps the movie fast paced and rollicking.
Many extraneous characters become involved in the plot, leading to mix-up after mix-up, all drawn into this macabre comedy against their will.
You will love Pesci, Diane Cannon and George Hamilton. However if humor based on such a repugnant premise is not your cup of tea, pass this one by. It is not for the faint of heart.
If you liked either one or both of the "Weekend at Bernies" movies, you will surely enjoy this.
