I'll bet this is a a dandy pizzelle maker but I can't say for sure since we have yet to see it--I gave it one star ONLY because the program insisted I do something in that space. I've ordered it twice but DHL can't seem to figure out how to get it there. (and yes, I've double and triple checked the address...)

Cuisinart Pizzelle Press
I have purchased two of these as gifts. They work well to make the wonderful Italian cookie, Pizzelles. They are easy to use and clean. The light indicator works and is reliable.

I love this product. It is foolproof. Just follow the directions and pay attention to the red and green lights and the cookies come out perfect. The recipe provided was good, you may want to add anise to make them more authentically Italian.

The cuisinart pizzelle press works well, but I was expecting the cookies to be larger. My family was disappointed in the size of the cookies.

I love this little appliance! It's compact & does a fantastic job of making crisp little cookies. I've used it several times since I purchased it and it makes a batch of delightful cookies in no time at all. I had my husband make a small wooden cone shaped roller that I use when making these cookies. When the cookie comes off the grill, I quickly put it on the roller & roll it into a cone shape. When cooled I fill each with whipped cream....YUMMMMY! I'm very pleased with this appliance and would highly recommend it to anyone who is in doubt about purchasing it. It is small and stores in very little space. It heats quickly and there is virtually no clean up....one of my favorite features. I have absolutely no complaints about it.

This is the best pizzelle iron out there...hands down. Once you find the setting you are comfortable with, it is a breeze to operate. The locking latch is well made and will probably last forever. This is important so you do not need to hold the iron down the whole time they cook! When I tasted the first pizzelle, my shoes and glasses fell off...they were that perfect. The only drawback is I've gained 5 lbs since I bought it.
Works Great!! - Review written on December 18, 2007

This works great. I used it on setting #2. When you shut the lid it takes a while for the light to turn from green to red, but when it does it soon turns back to green to signal they are done, and they come out perfect then. For the price, I am really happy with it.

It is slow though, it took me almost 2 hours to make 10 dozen. I am thinking about buying another one to cut my time in half.

Please do not waste your money on this. I had an old pizzelle maker that was my mothers (over 50 years old) and I or my mother never once had a problem with it. I thought that I would like to get a coated one (easier to clean) so I ordered the Cuisinart. Keep in mind that I only make pizzelles on holidays and during the second year, the latch broke off (which is plastic and should not be). Since I had a 3 year warranty, my husband called them. They said that we would have to pay $10 for them to send us a new one and another $10 to send the old one back. We were furious! Then I called another rep there and she waived the first $10 fee, but we still had to pay to send the broken one back. I will never again buy anything from Cuisinart. If you want a pizzelle maker, make sure that it has a metal latch, not a cheap plastic one.

My wife bought this last year. The latch broke this year. They can't send me just a latch (about a 10 cent part) since it's made in China. They have to send me a whole new machine. They want $10 to send me the new unit and I pay for sending the old unit back. NOT! After I blew they waived the $10 and I can send the old unit however I want. Buy a product that you can get parts for. Not this one.

compact and very easy to use, clean and store. I find instead of using the regular flour batter, cornmeal or oatmeal batters (cooked instant oatmeal, looks like thick batter, cornmeal no need to cook, just add water) will not stick to the pizzelle press even without using any oil (either adding in the batter or brushing the press), and the cookies are crispier than using the flour batter, or adding some corn starch or rice flour to the batter can also make the cookies crispy, i guess this is because all these meals/flours have less or no gluten. I like this pizzelle press, no many recipes and good ideas i want to try.

Although the press has a timer, I found that it does not operate as expected. It does not seem to reset quickly after opening, so i ended up timing myself.

I like that it can be stored on it's side.

I recently purchased this iron because I was tired of paying what the grocery store wanted for them. I love it. I am able to make ice cream cones, bowls, and plain old cookies. I put off buying this iron for a long time because I did not want another useless appliance in my house. I purchased this from Amazon as a refurbished piece and it works perfectly. I use it at least once a week, if not for myself for my young son who loves them too! It has an adjustable iron so that you get the perfect cookie each time according to what you want. The recipes are great also.

It comes with a recipe book, spoon and wooden turning tool for making cones or rolled cookies. Oh! The cookie iron has a flower on

This machine is great. It's very easy to use and it cooks the Pizzelle's perfect( i found that if you put it on level 3, they come out perfect). The nonstick surface is great, no mess. The hardest part(if you even consider it hard) is getting the mixture amount just right so that it doesn't come out on the sides.

The only thing that i wish i had was more plates to cook with. This is not a recipe where you put it in the oven and come back in 10 minutes. You have to stay close by to remove the Pizzelle's (about even minute or so). So it's time consuming if you are making 30 at a time, but the taste is worth the wait!!!

I waited a long time to get one of these pizzelles and I wanted a Cuisinart one. I have had it for 9 months and it was great. I wanted to make several batches for Christmas and the latch on the pizzelle broke right off!. I have called the company and emailed them several times and they wont get back to me. I also noticed on their site that the only parts available for the WM-PZ2 is the dowel and the plastic spoon! So ..now I know why they wont get back to me.......and there was a warranty but I guess I can throw that out the window along with this machine. Please....when you buy one, pick a product that has a parts department and you can get all of the parts for the item. I have purchased many of the Cuisinart products but will now purchase the other brands instead.

I found the Cuisinart Pizzelle Maker to be very easy to use, and also easy to clean! I had never made anything like these before, and I was making perfect cookies in no time! I am thrilled with this product, and would recommend it to anyone!

P.S. I modified the recipe that came with it, and got rave reviews! All I did was double the amount of the vanilla that the recipe called for, and I sifted the flour before adding it to the batter. This resulted in a much lighter, crispier cookie with a nice vanilla flavor.
