These are fantastic! I worked as an operations manager for a call center, which required me to move desks around all the time. With the help of these, I was able to slide the desks anywhere I needed them without the help of someone else. They also work great on filing cabinets, printers.. really anything you need moved. The bottom of these sliders is a heavy plastic, so I wouldn't suggest moving these across tile or hardwood flooring as it may leave marks, however, they have special ones for hardwood flooring that have felt instead of plastic on the bottom. Why break your back moving heavy furniture when you can simply scoot it along?

This set makes moving furniture a cinch! We used our first set so often that the foam was worn down but were more than happy to get another. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs to move something heavy but doesn't have actual people to do it.

The large moving men aided myself, a middle aged woman, to single handedly move a pinball machine from one room to another. The other smaller furniture pieces on the small or large sliders I probably could have moved with a feather!

The products are OK. They could be a bit thicker on the plastic and a bit more durable on the padding. They are bit "flimsier" for the furniture and heavy items.
We use them on lots of items and leave them these so we can move the heavy ottomans and recliners around. We have about 8 sets of these items some predate this brand. The early ones are not white and orange but dark beige with black inserts. These are better for the visible furniture. Perhaps Moving Men would make a version for constant use instead of just rare use.

These are the best, in fact thiese are my second set since one is not enough.

I was truly surprised how well the sliders worked. We were able to move about 300lb with ease across the carpet.

These are completely worth it. I rearranged a living room full of heavy furniture (including a six-million-pound large marble-topped coffee table) with no strain on my bad back. Wish I had found these nifty disks years ago.

Moving Men 8-Piece Furniture Slider Set

This is okay for moving furniture on a rug. Do not use them on bare floors of any kind, regardless of what the directions say. I made the mistake of believing the directions, that they would not scratch non scratchable floors. They may not scratch them, but they do mar them. The mar will probably rub out with some work, but am not happy that happened. They work very well on carpeted floors and are almost effortless with that task. So I am not recommending this product for uncovered flooring of any kind, but will give it a heads up for carpeted floors.

I brought the Moving Men slider set without knowing for sure if it will work. But for lest than 10 dollars, I was willing to gamble that it will. And work it does! I was able to move our 36" CRT TV together with the entertainment center about 30' on carpet all by myself. BTW, I am 58 years young. I saved more than its cost with just this one move. I gave it 4 stars because you still have to provide the power.

These things work exactly as promised. I moved some very large heavy real wood furniture by myself and had no problems. I have a very thick carpet and they did not catch or slow down at all. Probably the only thing that could be improved would be if the edge was not so high, it was a little difficult sometimes to lift the furniture and try to direct the mover underneith with my foot at the same time.

We have used these moving men for over two years now! We absolutely love them! Being a military family we move a lot and when it comes to decorating/rearranging/cleaning these objects are a life savior!!!! We have 24 of these little men that we carry around the house! One day we may actually get more since we love them so much :)

they are not to bad for the price. moved a very heavy entertainment center with them. made it much easier.

I've used this product for years and must say they are a life saver when moving heavy furniture or other heavy items. Eventually, the plastic on the bottom of the disk will crack if used a lot to move heavy stuff; but, the replacement price is so reasonable, I just replace them with new ones. Kudos to the seller for good pricing and fast shipping.

I cannot believe I bought these things. Total impulse buy but I thought they would be useful.
They are NOT. What it doesn't say in the product description is that they can only be used on carpet. Not hardwood floors. They will scratch the dickens out of your floors. I wasn't really paying attention when I opened the box they came in so the return time period expired by the time I realized this. Oh well, maybe I can sell them at a garage sale.

This product works as described. If you are using this on tiles/wood, ensure that the ground is clean / free of dust to avoid scratching of floors since dust particles tend to get stuck on the bottom of the pad. I would recommend this product to anyone.

These worked wonderfully on all of the furniture that I chose to use it on. The size variety was perfect. They slid right along both hard surfaces and carpet. It made my move much much easier. I would buy them again!

I had a massive wall unit to move. It is tall, awkward and heavy. The idea of moving it with a friend who had a weak back didn't sound promising. After reading some of the reviews for this product I purchased it. The wall unit breaks down to three sections with the ends weighing 100lbs and the center weighing 300lbs. I slid four large discs under each corner of one of the ends and pulled with a 90 degree twisting motion to the left then to the right. It moved with ease. When I reached a doorway, I needed to tilt it. I simply allowed the top to lower towards me while maintaining contact with two of the large pads. Again I slid with the left-right motion and easily cleared the doorway. At that point I returned the unit to the upright position, returned the two other large pads and positioned near the wall. I had equal success with the 300lb center. I was truly amazed.

This type of furniture slider works wonderfully well for moving heavy furniture on carpeted floor and/or rugs. It has a slick, hard plastic base, and a foam top where the furniture legs actually rest. The foam keeps the furniture from sliding off the disc, and the hard plastic moves easily on rugs and carpets.

The idea behind this product is so simple it makes you think "I should have thought of this". It seems that whenever I need to move something heavy there is no one around to help. Using these, I have been able to move many different furniture items, from big sofas to tall bookcases, all by myself. I have only used them on carpeted floors.

The only problem I have encountered using this product is when I need to move the furniture up against the wall and into a tight spot. It becomes difficult to remove the moving men when I'm done. An extra person in this situation really helps. But, this is not a flaw with the product so I still give it 5 stars.

Anyone that has tried to move furniture will appreciate how easy it is to use these disks. Highly recommend; this was actually my second set as I decided to leave them permanently under some of my larger pieces.

I purchased 2 sets of the Moving Men Furniture Sliders for my design studio. They did NOT work!!! The sliders kept slipping out from under the furniture legs. The teflon bottoms picked up EVERY particle off the floor, instantly ruining the smooth sliding surface of the moving pad and scratching my floors. I had to throw the sliders away after one use. Now, my floors are a mess! I've since found that tube socks work well as furniture glides.

I just received this product and the first thing that I saw in the instructions is that it is not for floors that will scratch (like hardwood)- which is exactly what I bought it for. This was not mentioned anywhere in the product description or on the outside of the box. I will be returning it.

I've moved alot of heavy stuff with these handy slides. The large (7" diameter) ones work best. I find myself not using the smaller ones much, not that theres anything wrong with them. I've purchased some off brand clones at the dollar store but they are not even close to the quality of the original moving men. I think it is obvious but these should only be used on carpet. If used on a hard surface the bottoms get scratched making them not slide as well. I think every home should have these.

I am a 115 lb women and I moved a piano to another room all by myself with these. It is unbelievable how much easier they make moving furniture. You can use them for just about any piece if furniture. I have mostly used them on carpet

I purchased these for our latest house move. I was hoping that they would allow my wife and I to arrange our furniture without having to wait for our son or son-in-law to come over - we have some large furniture. Well, they worked great on the carpet, but I have been afraid to try them on our wood floors since they are scratching pretty easily.

If you have carpet, I would highly recommend them. They allow you to slide furniture without snagging or stretching your carpet.
