Good product! Glad I purchased it along with the frothing thermo and double insulated shot glasses to make my expresso station complete. The pitcher is all stainless and just the perect size for a tall latte frothing.

Keeps the milk just the right distance from the frothing arm and gives plenty of room to spoon the foam.

Quality frothing mixture suitable for 15 or 20 oz lattes - Review written on September 23, 2007

Pros:
Nice size for a large latte of around 15 to 20oz.
Nice finish
Good price (half of what the local store wanted for a smaller pitcher)

Cons:
Handle is close to pitcher (burn risk if you touch the side of the pitcher)

Who should buy this? Someone looking for a pitcher to froth milk for a single large latte.

This is a great pitcher for frothing milk for lattes. I use about 6 to 8 oz of milk for a 15 oz latte. It hasn't overfilled on me yet, but I imagine a 20 oz latte (10 oz of milk or so) would be about the limit before you risk frothing it over the top. I usually froth until I am at the 160-170 degree range (buy an instant read thermometer).

My only complaint is the handle. My large hands hold the pitcher such that my knuckles want to bump up against the side of the pitcher. Since the pitcher is thin metal, the outside temperature is basically the same of the liquid inside, and 170 degrees is pretty hot on the hands. The handle remains cool. The handle is also small and slightly difficult to hold onto.

I would buy this product again.

Attractive, sturdy espresso frothing pitcher - Review written on August 31, 2007

Rating: 5 out of 5

This is a must have item if you frequently make cappuccino or "steamers." The sturdy, yet lightweight stainless steel pitcher is a workhorse for frothing milk. You can also use it for brewing espresso, if your machine has adequate clearance--this is especially convenient if brewing double shots and your machine does not distribute the coffee equally into two espresso cups.

morning cappucino. Also, easy to clean. Good product.

Espresso pros and newbs should all have a forthing pitcher. Sure beats using a regular glass cup and getting burned with boiling milk.

This is another beautiful stainless steel piece added to my kitchen gadgets. Some are not so useful, but heck, it makes my kitchen counter look profession and great. This one is especially good cause it's not only good looking, but actually very useful!

This is a great pitcher to use when making more than one latte. Its large size keeps the foam from overflowing. Remember not to fill more than 1/2 way up.

This pitcher is not only convenient and durable but also cute! It is shiny and is perfect to use with my Mini Capresso machine. The handle makes it easy and safe to hold with bare hands even while frothing.
I would recommend it to anyone.
How Big A Frothing Pitcher - Review written on May 14, 2007

It works nicely although I wonder if I should not have gotten a larger one. I do miss the the little hole that some have that you can slide your temp gauge into so it does not slide around when trying to steam and check temp.

Good price for what you get.

There are things I like and don't like with this pitcher. For the espresso machine I'm using the pitcher doesn't seem to fit well under the frothing tube. I think this pitcher is best used with a bigger espresso machine than the one I have. I do like the stainless steel, it's easy to clean and keeps very cold (I store mine in the freezer). I can really get a lot of foam (which is the point) but for me it's awkward to use.

We bought this frother at a local Bed, Bath, & Beyond, and it was the same price as the one listed here. Sure there are others out there that are less expensive, and if you can find it cheaper, go for it, but this is DEFINITELY a great buy. It's sleek, beautiful, AND functional.

It works very well with my Mr. Coffee ECM21 Espresso/Coffeemaker Combo. It makes perfectly frothed/steamed milk every time. It is very comfortable to use, and the spout pours the milk out smooth, clean, and easy every time. I read that frothers with a pointy spout pour the milk and froth out more accurately than ones with a wider spout like this one, but I don't see how it could be any better than this. I never even have to spoon out any froth.

Overall, I am perfectly satisfied with this frother. We won't ever need a different one.

For all the good reasons:
- Looks great
- Feels sturdy, will last a lifetime
- Pours very very cleanly
- Handle is just right to tilt and froth
- When you have a froth head on the milk, you can adjust the tilt so it releases liquid milk from the lower part, or drops foam. Sometimes you need a spoon to control which you get, but not as often as the steel cup I used before this one.
- If you start with half of this cup, you can froth it to the brim and fill a 15-oz glass to the overflow point. So it's not entirely 20oz since you lose some froth on pouring, but if you have that fine solid froth you don't lose much.
- Great for frothing milk for hot chocolate too

Tip: I put sugar (raw) and a touch of vanilla in the pitcher itself, and you get a sweet vanilla froth that goes very well on a nicely extracted espresso.

Cons: I have to wash it after use. If it was self-cleaning it would be perfect. Oh well, good thing it comes out of the dishwasher looking like new.

I bought one of these for work and one for home. It works well with the two different thermometers I bought and the volume is large enough to steam enough milk for two large lattes.

I didn't see too many frothing pitcher options to choose from, but regardless, I've been very happy with this one.

This frothing pitcher is the best. It is the right size for two caps or one latte. Clean up is a breeze. It keeps me from bottoming out my frothing tip. I store it in the freezer cause I find that the milk froths better that way. Great buy for ten bucks and free shipping.

I am not crazy about this pitcher. I bought it to use at my folks house when I visit them so I can have lattes and not drive a million miles to get one.
The volume is all the in width, not the depth so it is hard to use without rotating the whole thing during steaming and frothing. The rim hits the espresso machine and the wand on the one I used doesn't move so it's limiting and awkward.
I'm only not returning it because I will only use it 2-3 times a year.
The Perfect Size, Missing a Decent Spout - Review written on January 04, 2007

This 3 1/2" high Krups 20 Oz frothing pitcher is the perfect size to fit under my Rancilio Silvia frothing wand without having to tip it to the side to get it in and out. The 20 Oz capacity will produce enough frothed milk for several lattes at one time and will froth smaller amounts easily too.

The only negative detractor is that it lacks a decent spout making espresso or cappucino art a little clumsy.

When I bought a new cappucino machine, I decided to buy a metal frothing pitcher to accompany it. Until then, I had always used a pyrex 1-cup measuring pitcher to froth my milk. To my dismay, the pyrex pitcher works much better. Save your money on this item and, if you do not already have one, purchase a pyrex measuring pitcher. Unlike this product, the pyrex has MULTIPLE uses.
