This thing is a monster, it feels like a weapon in your hand! It's very ergonomic, very heat resistant (it won't melt if you leave it on the edge of the pan), and won't scratch non-stick surfaces. It would have gotten 5 stars, except that the neck is a bit too soft and floppy. When new, it also has an odd smell--sorry to say it, but, it smelled a little like b.o. The smell didn't get into your food, and went away after several washings, but it was a little disturbing nonetheless.
