Always pleased with Canon products and their ink cartridges are no exception. Also pleased how the cartridges are designed seperately and not as a multipak that has to be replaced when only one cartridge is empty.

With gas prices these days, might as well buy them online. I ordered 3 of them with Amazon and got them within 2 days - pretty good. If you buy 3 or more, you get the free shipping which also saves money.

It's ink. It sticks to paper so people can read stuff. It's wet at first but then dries up and is pretty much permanent. If you have an ink jet printer I highly recommend ink.

I have always used original OEM ink with my Canon i860 printer and have never had a problem with print quality or functioning of a cartridge. My wife does a lot of photos so we keep a supply of cartridges for her use. Will continue to use these products.

What can I say it is ink -- but it does the job. NOw if we could just get the price down on these ink jet inks - that would make it perfect.

Amazon sells these ink cartridges at a good price with fast free shipping when over $25 purchase. It is much more convenient and faster than going to the local store.

Genuine Canon Ink is the best! - Review written on November 29, 2007

I wouldn't use any other brand of ink in my Canon printer. Canon Genuine ink is the BEST - regardless of what others may say. I tried the cheap stuff in my previous Canon, and it did nothing but cause problems and repairs cost me much more than I saved. If you have a Canon printer, I strongly recommend using Canon Genuine Ink. Aside from the Canon plug, this seller delivered the ink cartridge in extremely fast time. I can't say enough about their customer service! I recommend these folks highly.

I currently have a Canon i960, but I've learned over the years never substitute generic inks no matter what the advertisement says. Only Canon inks give me the quality I want and don't ruin the printer. I do a lot of color prints to use as references in my art work, and contrary to what others may say, the inks last a long time and are well worth the expense for me.
Canon Inks are the best. - Review written on September 30, 2007

I have been using a Canon photo printer, i900D, for the past 3+ years. Needless to say, I have been very impressed with Canon's quality. Having paid lots for an earlier Lexmark printer and it's all colors inclusive cartridges only to have the printer conk out just out of the warranty period, I've been vary of these kind of printers. Canon, I should say, has gone past all of my expectations. The individual color tanks need to be changed only when they finish and are cheap enough to keep me away from generics. Given that the photos that I print at home are not as sharp as professional prints but they are still very good. Overall a wonderful choice.

Great Canon quality ink tank. Good value, but if you need other ink colors the best deal is AMAZON's combo paper and ink pack which includes cyan, magenta, yellow, 3e black, and 50 sheets of thinner glossly paper (a very good deal). Highly recommend this product or any other Canon ink products !!

Upon requesting and paying for a yellow ink cartridge, we got one filled with orange ink. We've tried several off brands and finally returned to the old standby, Canon, but our reunion has been tarnished. Not sure from whom we will buy at this point.
Good for Canon printer - Review written on August 15, 2007

This ink works great with Canon printer. Unfortunately this is the ONLY ink that works great with a canon printer. Any other ink I tried produce terrible result. So, basically if you own Canon printer you stuck with this ink, which can be a little less expensive. I gave 4 stars because the price is a bit high.

Can something be too yellow? I think it was silly of Amazon to ask me to review an ink tan full of ink. Did it work right?. yes, was the price OK? Yes again.

Nothing beats OEM ink for the Canon printers and I have not found a lower price anywhere with free shipping (over $25) at Amazon with no tax. I've gotten all my inks through Amazon and have never been unsatisfied.
Do not use generic inks - Review written on January 03, 2007

I have found that if I use the original Canon inks in my printer, not only am I assured of a superior quality picture, but I don't have to clean the ink heads (which uses extra ink) a tenth of the amount of times as I did with the others. Amazon is the cheapest place that I have found to purchase these original ink tanks.

you'd better use Canon brand ink.......or else. It's the "real" thing !!!!

These name brand tanks are more color accurate than SOME refill inks. Furthermore, I've had one refill ink permanently clog the tank, and the printer as well, until I performed deep cleanings on the printer with a squirt or two of alcohol. I've found one aftermarket brand ink refill that seems to flow freely. To the consumer who doesn't want to experiment in order to save money, I recommend the Canon tanks, as expensive as they are.
be careful of which magenta you buy - Review written on October 12, 2006

This, like all Canon products I've come across is superb. Be careful though, to get the correct Magenta ink for your printer. I mistakenly bought the BCI-6PM (photo magenta) instead of this ink because I wanted to use it to print photos with my Canon MP780. I ended up with every color print coming out with a greenish orange pall. I spent hours trying to figure what was wrong (Photoshop color space, ICC profile, Printer drivers etc.). Simply substituting the magenta cartridge for the photo magenta cartridge instantly solved my problem.

After ordering non-OEM inks from several different places on the web (and having some problems with them), I discovered that Amazon sold OEM at great prices.

I went to my local office supply store and purchased a complete set of 5 inks for my Canon Pixma iP4000 at a cost of $75. Later that day I found them on Amazon at almost 1/2 the price!

Also, when it comes to OEM inks, I discovered that they seem to last almost 3 times as long as the generic and refilled versions.

I have tried inkgrabber and 123 inks, These "compatible" cartridges are not the same as the original Canon inks. They are very different and have different archival values and fade resistant values. Canon brand inks hold their color longer and are not as prone to fading by light, oxygen, or other gases that are known to cause fading. I own the Canon i9900 printer and it performs flawlessly with Canon inks.
Buy Genuine Canon for the kink of results Canon advertises for their printers. Amazon has had the best prices for genuine Canon inks.

Around here Canon ink is difficult to locate and expensive when you actually find someone who carries it. It may take a week or two to arrive using Amazon's free shipping option, but I get fantatstic results from my Canon Pixma MP780 (that I also bought from Amazon). Most of my printing is borderless 8 1/2x11 and the quality is always great. Definitely worth it. If turnaround time is a problem, buy two so you always have a spare.

The number of complaints regarding Amazon is amazing and unfair. All you need to do is read carefully and you won't "get screwed" . . . . be aware of where you are going. Are you still on Amazon or have you clicked-off onto another site? Like the young lady from New England, USA, I also get my orders shipped free, and that's on top of the discounted prices. I'm more than happy!

For the rest of you photo enthusiasts . . . . . run 2 printers! Yup! (Take advantage of Amazon's pricing and free shipping and you can afford it). Buy printers when they're 1 1/2 - 2 yrs old . . . I run an Epson AIO, (...) That's my everyday scan, print, photo, etc. . . .use generic/compatible inks(from a reputable company, not a junk dealer) . . .all's fine. On top of that I use a piece of software that adjusts my ink output; I can set it at 65% savings/whatever, then run it at 100% when needed. So I'm running compatible ink . . . . . AND stretching it!

I use a Canon for my "fine" photo printing/longevity . . . also bought at less than 1/2 price . . . . (...)! In this printer I use all Canon papers and inks.

The Epson prints awesome photos; I just prefer the 'pop' from Canon's dye-based inks. If you want super longevity/archival prints go with Epson and their pigment-based ink.

Thank you Amazon!

Happy printing everyone!

Why risk damaging your expensive printer using cheap generic's?

I only buy Genuine Canon Brand Ink for my printer. Yes it costs a lot more then the generic but I don't want to have to replace my print head repeatedly because of it.

I am using this cartridge with my Canon Pixma IP3000 at home. I have printed about 200 mid-sized pictures since I installed it in my printer. The cartridge has lasted four months. I finally received a message that the cartridge is empty but still am able to print from it. I have used cheap cartridges in the past with another Canon printer and came to a conclusion that what you pay is what you get. The cartridges lasted very little and clogged up the printer heads. I think that paying more for the authentic Canon is going to pay off in the long run - your printer will work much longer.
