I did not know there was such a variety of Swiss Army Knives. I was able to duplicate one that I had given my husband more than 15 years ago and that he had lost recently. He's tickled pink to have another. The price was so low I expected the knife to be of poor quality. But it arrived promptly and was in perfect, high quality condition.

The best of this line-light enough for back-packing, versatile enough for most uses. Now if only I didn't lose them so often!

I got the Swiss Army Climber as a Christmas gift from my friend this past Christmas...Out of all the gifts I got, this knife was my favorite!!! It's awesome, very durable, and the blades are really sharp!!! In terms of functionality, it's awesome. In terms of appearance, simple, yet rugged...If you add everything up, you'll realize why Swiss Army produces THE BEST pocket knives out there!!!

The price for this knife on Amazon is really fantastic. I had one of these before and lost it. I was very glad to see Amazon sold them. Excellent set of tools!

I bought this for my friend and she LOVED it. She immediately started using the scissors on this. Very good handy present.

Great, handy tool that I use around at the house for almost everything. I do wish there was a philips screwdriver along with, but I think I'll just het another model that has one. This scores big with me because it has most of the essential tools and is compact at the same time. Definitely worth the buy.

I purchased my Climber in 1991 and have enjoyed every minute of it. It was - and is still, as far as I can tell - the most compact Swiss Army knife with both the scissors and the corkscrew, the two attachments I felt were the most useful (to me, an urban backpacker at the time) after the two basic knives. I have given The Climber as a gift many times, with great success. The Climber is amazingly sharp, strong, and helpful. I love it.

I've had my Climber knife for almost 14 years now, and it is as good and shiny as new. (And I bought it from Switzerland, not that this would make any difference).
Lost the tweezer, and just ordered a replacement, so that my Climber is "whole" again.
Very nice and faithfull tool!
An excellent pocketknife, but you'll miss the screw-driver.. - Review written on September 26, 2001

This classic Swiss Army knife will serve you well -- I've had mine for going on 10 years. However, this model does not have a Phillips-head screwdriver function, which I find extremely useful. If you can deal with that missing element, I'd say, buy away!
Enjoy!
