Can not live without. - Review written on September 23, 2008

What can be said about this knife? It is just one of those things you cannot do without. It is very handy and last almost forever (unless you lose it). I have several of the variations depending on what I need. This is the simplest one. Also have the one with philips and normal screw drivers (still very small knife) and of course the one with a bottle opener, one which all beer drinkers need! Must check out all the variant to be sure to get the right one(s).

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loves it. He carries it on his key chain and the scissors and knife have already been used many times. Both are sharp and perfectly easy to use. It is perfect size to carry in his pocket. He has also used the nail file as a screw drive in a pinch. I would recommend this product. I wouldn't bring it as a survival tool but a great all around for small things.

You can't go wrong with a Swiss Army Pocket Knife. This one is great for key chains. I keep mine in my purse and use it all the time. Knife and scissors stay sharp. Durable and easy to handle. Good product for the price.
Great little item - Review written on August 05, 2008

My old one got confiscated at the airport when I forgot to take it off my keyring. The TSA agent had it out of my carry-on and off my keychain before I could say "huh?" So these things must pop up on their scanners all the time. It was old and scratched and missing its toothpick, so I said I'd just get another. I got it in green, and I like the shamrock on my new one. These tools can't be beat for snipping an errant button thread during a boring meeting or opening another box from Amazon. I hope I remember to take this off my keyring before my next flight.

I've been carrying one of these for about 20 years now. I wonder how I ever got along without it before! I gave one to my father-in-law, and he just rolled his eyes a bit. Now, he doesn't go anywhere without it. Knife, scissors, screwdriver, tweezers....covers just about every pesky little need that comes up and no other tools are available.
easy to use, and nice - Review written on July 24, 2008

this item was very nice. the knife was sorta dull though. when i got it, it had sand in it, and the blade was dull. so i was pretty disappointed. the tweezers and toothpick were pretty cool. i liked the scissors too. i recommend this item because it's cheap, and it's easy to use. hope i helped. :)

I bought 2, both red with white Edelweiss. Gave 1 to Swiss son-in-law. When you have one on a keychain the keys are easier to find and it's remarkable how often it will be of use. JWC

I had previously had a pink swiss army knife, but removed it from my keyring after 9/11 and then lost it. So, I was thrilled to find a pink one on sell at Amazon. I'd really missed having a swiss army knife and am now using it all the time. If you don't have one on your keyring, you should!

This is as good as they get, quality wise. Made in Switzerland by Victorinox. This one has scissors, nail file (with the traditional POINTED tip (not SD) and knife blade. Lifetime warranty. Buy used and save $$$$ or buy new for a gift box. Just make sure you buy SWISS. The copies are garbage.

I've owned this knife before, many, many times, and it is a great little knife. Does everything I need a small knife to do, and more. Now if they would only add an RFID chip so I could track it when I inevitably lose it or have it confiscated by TSA agents...
Every adult should have one - Review written on May 31, 2008

Rating: 5 out of 5

I have purchased at least 10 of these key chain knives from Amazon. Have given them as gifts to my adult children and their spouses and I have one on each key chain. The scissors works in a pinch and the knife blade is very versatile. When (not if) I lose another, I will order more since they are a handy addition to any key chain!

I have several and continue to look for other colors. I carry one for a while and put it away, get another out and change from time to time. My favorite little pocket knife every. Discovered them quite by accident and now seem like a collector of every color and design.

I just received these knives in a timely manner. I think they're handy except that the picture is a bit deceiving. These knives are not pink they are hot pink. I'm ok with that, except that I was expecting a lighter shade. Overall, it's a great product.

Great gift item - Review written on April 07, 2008

Rating: 5 out of 5

I've purchased this twice for the same gift recipient, so I know he likes it. The first one was confiscated by TSA at the airport and he was devastated. I replaced it with another one, because it is quite handy to have around.

It's small enough to fit in a purse, bag or pocket, but you can also use the loop to hang it on a keyring. The tweezers aren't eyebrow or splinter-removal worthy, but they are nice for retrieving things out of the computer keyboard. I think I've managed to use all of the attachments at one time or another. The flat blade at the end of the nail file is great for helping to pry up things (like the pull-tab on your soda) or as an actual screwdriver. The scissors are great for nipping off stray threads, too.
What I Expected - Review written on April 05, 2008

Rating: 4 out of 5

I ordered this knife because I lost a similar one that I had kept on my keychain. I also ordered it because it was unique and I was hoping that, just maybe, it could be a good luck charm for a very important licensing exam that I had coming up. As a good luck charm, it definitely earned its keep, but you don't care about that... As a knife, it was exactly what I expected, almost. It is a very convenient little tool to have around, but the quality was below what I was used to with Victorinox, which surprised me. The blade was not very sharp and the scissors actually had a factory defect. One of the scissor blades was not all the way straight and had a notch in the blade edge, causing the scissors to kind of snap past the defect. It's not a big deal, but definitely not what I expected from Victorinox. That said, it's not exactly like this knife is intended to be a high end survival tool. It is just a keychain convenience, and functions well as such, even with a few minor defects.

I have had one of these on my key chain for over 15 years now; it's only been replaced 3 times and I use it almost daily. It comes with a removable plastic toothpick and tweezers. I love having a toothpick handy after eating out somewhere and the tweezers work very well. The tweezers do not have the strongest grip because they are very thin and therefore a bit flexible, but I have never had them fail to work and they have very sharp edges for getting out the finest hair and/or splinter.

The knife and fingernail file/screwdriver are obviously useful in many instances; the only problem I've ever had is that if you are trying to remove/loosen a very tight screw it might close on you if you press too hard. The implements do not 'lock' into place, so you have to use some caution.

The scissors were originally my primary reason for purchasing these and are fine enough to help trim your cuticles and strong enough for smaller cuts. They are definitely not super strong but definitely cut paper and thin plastic easily.

Overall, these are a terrific gift for just about anyone and a great purchase for yourself. I've seen them in the store for upwards of $14 but you can get these for less frequently on sale at Amazon.

I didn't know a knife can be made this small until I got the shipment. It is too small to be used to peel the apples. It ended up disappearing in my son's toy box.

I suggest you read the specification carefully before place an order.

Got one as a groomsmen's gift about 20 years ago and am on my 10th one. Use it almost every day-the scissors most. Tweezers are great when you need it. Screwdriver is strong for prying little things. Clean scissors pivot with lighter fluid if sticks from gum-up after a year. Retail for about $15, but can usually get some for $10.

I have had one of these for 20 years, of course, not the same one as with all it's versatility and usefulness they get lost or broken (when not used properly). Great for gifts, too.
