This garlic baker looks and works great. It is generously sized and can hold several heads of garlic for baking. I love the terra cotta finish.

I put this in the microwave for 1 minute and out comes the most delicious cooked garlic! You don't have to add anything to it! Cooked garlic, just by itself is very sweet- even my 2 year old enjoys it.

This garlic baker is a fine addition to any kitchen. After several weeks of use, it has never failed to produce tastey, roasted garlic, which in turn has proven to be a delicious addition to pizza or pasta sauce.

My husband and I love this item! We can fit 2 (or sometimes 3) garlic bulbs into this garlic baker that we put into our little convection oven. It's really easy and the garlic comes out perfect!

I grow and eat lots of organic garlic ... Every summer you can see the huge purple orbs of garlic blooms right in my front courtyard garden, alongside other beautiful (yet less practical) flowers. The Norpro Garlic Baker is large enough to easily accommodate a big head of elephant garlic or several smaller heads of regular garlic. And it's so easy! You just whack the top end of the entire garlic head off before baking, and the naked cloves are easy-peezie to remove from the outer coverings once it's cooked. I like to soak the lid of my Norpro in water before baking, as that keeps the garlic head extra moist while it's cooking. The best part: my garlic is being cooked while I'm preparing the rest of my meal, so the Norpro allows me to multi-task! I would like a smaller version to carry with me when I travel.

I am a slave for garlic, and this makes such yummy whole roasted cloves. Though rumor has it, you can seperate the cloves! I love the smell of garlic as I am roasting it, then I can take the yummy roasted cloves and smoosh them into garlic spread, or just toss them onto or into casseroles, potatoes, soups or onto fish.

My only complaint, is that the smell gets into this and permeates what it is near. Thinking maybe if I zipped it in a ziplock that might help it.

Being a collector of kitchen gadgets, I purchased this a few years ago and it disappeared among the other items in my collection. I found it recently and bought some fresh garlic, drizzled it with olive oil, and sprinkled some fresh thyme over it. About 45 minutes later, the house was filled with the aroma of roasted garlic....YUMMM!!! I have used roasted garlic with mashed potatoes and will never again do it any other way. The Norpro works much better than foil as it bakes the garlic more evenly. I use this item all the time now and just toss it in the oven when I'm roasting another main dish or casserole. It's so good that you may find yourself wanting more than one, as there is nothing that tastes better than food smothered in roasted garlic.

I used to roast garlic by wrapping it up in foil and putting that in the oven, which proved to be a real pain in the neck. This roasts the garlic really well, the only thing I can say is that if you drizzle olive oil over the garlic (as I do) that I've experienced some "stickiness" that is hard to get off, but that's probably due more to the oil than the roaster.

After using this what I considered a strange looking kitchen item,I am sure pleased that I am opened minded. Being a person that loves the taste of garlic,I try to incorporate it in my daily diet for health reasons and for the wonderful way it teases my pallette! Garlic Baked in the Norpro comes out so soft you can actually spread it on crackers or a fine French bread. Now I look for large cloves of garlic so that we can enjoy this special treat as often as we can. I am only a modest homemaker,However, I do know a good product when I use one and this one I rate a high 5! Now go out and get one,you will not regret it.
