I think it's only fair to voice my opinion on Bob's latest CD since I shot down his last project. This is Bob. It's got lil something for everybody. It's smooth, but yet up beat and a little edgy at times. Good to have you back

Awesome CD. Bob Baldwin mixture of R&B with Smooth Jazz has turned out to be an remarkable success. I can't stop listening to it.

I recently purchased Bob Baldwin's new CD - NewUrban Jazz and let me tell you. It's one you have to have. Bob is such a talented artist, who I think is underrated. The man is just off the hook. I truly enjoy his music and this CD is no exception. You have to get it.

I am a big fan of Bob Baldwin, and I have all of previous CDs. When this CD came out, I bought it without sampling any of the tracks because his past CDs have all been stellar. In hindsight, I should have sampled this one. If I had, I would not have purchased it. There are only a couple of tracks that remain true to his particular style, which I have grown accustomed to. The remaining tracks are all "B'"sides, are "throw always". I particulary did not care for any of the vocal tracks with the lame, predictable R&B love lyrics. Also, the rap/hip-hop track was completely out of character. Lastly, he even throws in a "re-make" from one of his previous CDs, which, for my money, is a "no-no". In summary, this so-called new urban jazz appears to be a gimmick that will not have any broad appeal. Please Bob, get back to your roots.
