My first impression after spraying is that Black Orchid Voile de Fleur smelled like Alupent cough syrup. My husband was on the other side of the room when I sampled this and he said it smelled like (and I quote), "Essence eau Carnivale Midway". While I don't share in my hubbies complete hate for Black Orchid, I certainly don't love it either. Surprisingly, there's hardly any detectable florals here. It has an antiseptic cinnamon scented note which is the most dominiant note on my skin. Even after a hour it hasn't changed at all. On my skin it's very linear and boring. Not my cup of tea. The bottle design is cute tho. I would definitely try before buying.
