I have used Panasonic shavers for over 15 years and this is by far the best model I have ever used. Exceptionally smooth and close shave when used wet, which is the only way I have used it. And I like the fact it does not come with the cleaning system/charger stand which I feel is unnecessary.

I stumbled upon the Panasonic range of shavers a few years ago after trying every other manufacturer on the market and being let down not to mention wasting a lot of cash!

I was really impressed by the quality my previous Panasonic model and haven't considered another brand since. When the time came to look at (reluctantly# renewing my old Panasonic I decided to plump for the Arc IV Nano and was simply blown away by the improvement even over my previous model.

I have particularly tough growth yet sensitive skin bu this device gives a wet shave performance (when dry) and without the irritation. My girlfriend was also shocked by the difference this new device made. Surely an investment well worth the investment in that case! :-)

Buy this shaver - you will not be disappointed!

The shaver is nice but was $200. I guess I just have bad thick ingrown hairs. The shaver is good but I think a shaver for 100 or less would of done just as well. I did get the shaver in perfect condition from the company and was very fast at shiping it. Only issue was that Amazon sent the wrong replacement foils/cutters with it. I called them and they said it was the right ones but anyone looking at it could see it was made for another razer. They sent me MODEL WES9006PC but I needed WES9021PC. I called Panasonic to get that model#. But the shaver is a great shaver if you have more thin hairs on your face :)

i've always shaved with electric shavers and this is the best one I have ever owned. It does a great job on both the soft hairs on the neck as well as the more bristle-like hairs on the chin.

If you're like me and seek the "Holy Grail" in electric shavers, you have probably spent a lot of money on a lot of different shavers. Norelco's Brauns, Grundig, Porsche Design etc.

What's funny is I don't have that heavy of a beard at all. I just WANT great shave that's close and smooth. For some of us shaving is kind of theraputic. A quiet subtle hummmming as we stretch and contort our face to get EVERY last hair. Especially rewarding when you get all those crazy neck hairs that grow in every direction.

Well, after so many shavers, I always find the Panasonic the SMOOTHEST, CLOSEST, FASTEST CUTTING, AND THE MOST ENJOYABLE shave I have ever experienced. I really thought it would be IMPOSSIBLE to beat the Brookstone Nano Panasonic (ES8828s)cleaning system I had. BUT VIOLA!! they did it again!. Now I don't even need the cleaing system!

Four (4) blades (two standard) and (two) sliding/slicing inner blades make this thing absolutely outstanding. Those middle blades really move, and do something no other shaver can do.

QUIET! IS NOT EVEN THE WORD for this thing. It is purring now, no buzz, just a 13,000 rpm purrrrr! Talk about quality in your hand.

Lastly, the unit can actually be rolled, moved up and down, go in circles, IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER! This thing is cutting in every direction with NO irration what so ever! The curved Nano blades NEVER seem to get dull but are the "natural" for curve of your skin the minute you touch the unit to your face. This SLIGHT push of the shaver into your face creates an "ARC" - thus the arc is the natural shape of the blades. Truly excellence in design.

I use the shaver DRY, sometimes with Afta Pre-Electric (which I highly recommend) I have not used it in a shower or with shaving cream. Frankly, I just can't imagine getting a closer shave that way. I never did with my other Panasonics.

I have really put this to the test by using the Gillette POWER Fusion Blade with their fusion gel. This is probably the only blade I'd shave with these days and I did this is a shower to get the best possible close shave.

THERE WAS NO COMPARISON - BAR NONE THE PANASONIC ARC IV was WAY closer THAN A BLADE. AND - TO ME, the real test is that my beard was barely showing a five o'clock shadow with the Panasonic. It did with a blade by 3pm.

RUN TO SHARPER IMAGE AND GET THIS SHAVER!!! For $199 it just can NOT be beat.
