After checking out this pan in a store, I decided to order it from Amazon when I got home. Unfortunately, that won't be happening. First, let me say the rating is not a reflection of the pan's quality. It looks like a great pan and I will be buying it in a local store. The review is instead about the current seller Amazon is using - Zaccardi. First off, I noticed that even though this is a three pound pan, it claims the shipping weight is 17 pounds. That's a LOT of packaging. This brings the shipping up to a whopping $17 - almost 20% of the item's cost. Strangely enough, at the seller's main website, the price is the same but the shipping is only $7. This could be Amazon's error. However, checking the feedback rating for Zaccardi showed a massive amount of negative feedback. The most common complaint seems to be that they can't figure out how to ship you the proper item. The second most common is that they charge ridiculous shipping. Take this information into account and chose wisely.
