The square 45-millimeter stainless steel case with sapphire window sets off the bold, chunky Arabic numerals on the blue mother-of-pearl dial. TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USED TO - Reviewed on 2008-06-24

I agree with all previous reviewers re Invicta quality and value. The Lupah is showy and bulky, and probably more fun than elegant. The only thing I'd add is that the crystal magnification makes the watch more difficult to read at a glance -- it blurs the face unless you are looking at it straight on. And the combination of the polished steel case and numerals plus the shiny crystal adds to the challenge of deciphering the time. But then, if you're only wearing the Lupah as a fashion statement, that's a small price to pay.

This watch is great. It looks even better in person than it does in the picture. The face of the watch is HUGE so if you don't like big watches this isn't for you. The bands appear to be easy to change, though I haven't yet as I really like the black one. This is my third Invicta watch and love them all, as they seem to keep perfect time and all look great. I think I'm developing an addiction to getting nice, new watches and have been very happy with Invictas.

This watch arrived Oct 16th. I set it to WWV and to this day watch is still to the second. It's still in the box as it is too nice to wear around the house and brush against a doorway or something.
Those leather bands are quite pricey, so buying them this way might save money.
Lupas are attention getters. And they're big.
Numbers and hands are mirror finished. Polished silver, if you will. Brushed stainless case. Straps are thick, you won't wear them out.

I hesitated to buy this one, but after snagging it on a gold box deal, I'm happy. It's definitely big, and stands up high on the arm, but it's really cool looking. It's not exactly elegant, I'd classify it more as a fun watch, but it does not look cheap. Quality seems quite high, almost too good to be true, and mine works perfectly so far.

The changeable, quick-release straps are awesome, but I'm not sure why they didn't include a blue one, since the face is actually a mother-of-pearl blue effect. I don't think it will get as much wear as a standard watch, but since I have a bunch of watches, I'd buy this one again.
