My 12 year old son had mastered the standard 3x3 version long ago. His time at Summer Camp was coming to a close and I was concerned that he would spend his time glued to Guitar Hero, his Nintendo DS or the computer. I wanted something else to engage him. I purchased both the 4x4 and the 5x5 versions of the Rubik's cube. It is a month and a half later and he still is working at the 4x4. It has really engaged him. We also learned that he might be able to use this for this year's science fair project; using math or algorhytms to solve Rubik's cube. Great toy! Good educational link to math and spatial relations.

This 4x4 is really smooth and really fun!! It is also easy to take apart and put back together, but it only comes aprt if you WANT it to come apart. I noticed some people wrote that it "exploded", if that does happen, you can always look up on youtube.com on how to put it back together. It's really easy and really fun. I recomend getting it. It is a perfect addition to any rubik's collection!!

Got the Revenge with the Professor. It is a good stepping stone for the Professor version. Learn a few more tricks, but the Professor is more fun.

The kids are back to playing with this. My son loves it. He can complete all sides in less that a minute.

Rubiks Cubes are challenging and fun at the same time. The Rubiks Cube Revenge adds another level of challenge than the Rubiks Cube making it all the more fun. This is a good investment either for a gift to a child or fiend or even yourself.
