These OXO peelers are EXCELLENT! They slice the peel right off but not too thick a slice. My old one was always pinching me and took a lot of pressure to get it through. I just quit peeling stuff. But now, I peel everything. We have a rabbit and compost pile so nothing goes to waste. This one even works well on ripe avocados.
