I have just purchased the 3rd heater of this model. The temp works just like they say, and is right on target. Set it at 72 and it kicks off at 74 and starts up at 71. The fan is quiet. As a safty they use and over heat sensor that works to cut the heater off if the air flow is blocked. I would still like to have a tip over switch. I did place my unit on it's face to see what would happen, and it did sut down within 15 sec. Other than the tip over switch that I would like as a back up. I have hunted the internet for hours and not found a better unit. Hope this helps you. If it will last more than a year, that would be very good.

Very happy with the purchase of Lasko #758000 Cyclonic Ceramic Heater. It warms up my great room, dining room and kitchen that have vaulted ceilings. Hopefully will cut down on the gas heating bill, but too early to tell yet as, the first gas bill has not arrived since using this product. I set it and leave it and the temp. comes up to my setting.

Bought two of these and one of the same with a remote. One heats a 300 sq ft kitchen and the other two heat a 550 sq ft living room. All rooms have 10 ft ceilings. We decided not to replace our central heat and use space heaters since it rarely gets below freezing here in SE TExas. These work great. We put in front of the large windows- they can be put right up against a wall. Set the thermostat at about 68 and quickly takes the chill out of the air. I am very happy with these. I am going to buy one for every room in our house. Very cost effective heaters with the digital thermostat and auto feature. Amazon has a great price on this one! And Prime can have it to you in two days.

This company finally got it right! An efficiant, compact, unobtrusive heater that fits into any room. Having an older charecter home presents some problems when the winter chill comes around! My upstair usually doesn't stay as warm as my first floor and that is an issue when I crawl into bed. Now, I head off to bed, plug in my Lasko, and in 15 mins my room is 70+ degrees and I can drift off to sleep warm and peaceful. My furnace gets a break as does my pocketbook. It has been the best purchase I've made in a long time!

Works well. I would like to be able to report on energy efficiency but haven't noted any lower electric bills. I like the heater because it has a thermostat and a timer.
