Ages: 6 and older
Requires: 6 AAA batteries (not included), 4 AA batteries (not included)
The Mansion Is Beautiful and High Tech
The two-story mansion is constructed of sturdy plastic and features numerous archways, a balcony, a smoothie bar shaded by a giant palm tree, and windows and doorways with gothic treatments that resemble iron latticework.

The feature that truly separates this playhouse from other dollhouses: a "dance floor" that interfaces with an MP3 player or a radio, which pipes the music through the floor. After turning on the light above the dance floor, your little one can make a mirror ball above the dance stage revolve by turning a thumbwheel. Because the rest of the features are so digitized, the fact that the mirror ball must be manually operated seemed a bit primitive, but this is a minor point. Mood lighting illuminates the interior of this palatial space with two lights under the eaves of the roof.

The Mansion May Be Customized
The owner of this mansion can "decorate" the rooms as she sees fit by using the roll of included stickers. Other than a chaise lounge, the interior is devoid of any furniture and adornment; the brownish beige stickers are meant to look like wood and to make the walls look less like (pink) plastic. Caution must be taken when applying stickers because they are not removable and cannot be repositioned; the mansion owner needs to be sure of her decision before adhesion. All of the stickers are numbered from 1 to 42, each corresponding to a particular and exact placement, which can be time-consuming and unforgiving of errors. One wants to be highly alert while peeling and adhering.

There is plenty of room for expansion in the mansion. The addition of furniture, personalized touches, and of course the dolls themselves will make this a great toy for the Bratz doll collector.

A good buy, best for girls over 5 though - Reviewed on 2008-09-02

I bought this for my 2 daughters, ages (then) 3 and 5, for Christmas. I got it on sale for $29.99...for that price it was a great deal. It isn't worth over $100 though you will be dissapointed. There isnt any furniture nor much room to put it, even if bought separatly. It has to just go on the floor not in the house...no room. But my girls play with it, a few times, and like it a lot even though unless you have a lot of room you will have to put it away and take it out each time. But overall it was a good buy and a nice huge toy under the tree. I think it would be best for kids over 5 mine were a little young for it.

Santa delivered this wonderful bargain (I was lucky enough to get this for less then $30 at Christmas with FREE shipping) to my 8 year old-who had NEVER seen it, although she loved her bratz, they needed a place to hang out! I love the colors (NOT PINK!) and decor, it's very trendy miami night club-ish and has a few pieces of furniture-lights, a disco ball and dance floor that is spoken alot about in other reviews-I agree wholeheartedly with that-but one BIG questions lurks as my child looks at me as well and says "But mommy, why isn't there more furnitrue for all this space?" Yes, indeed, the proportion of available space, once you place the chaise and dance floor, is enormous-and being an Early Childhood Teacher, I must admit, this toy missed a big playing "learning" opportunity. Kids need that "dramatic" and "imaginative" play using furntiure and doing something other than dancing at the big old mansion! A table and chair set to go with the grill perhaps? How about some stools for a smoothie bar like so many other of their pieces? (It's not like they don't have the molds) What about bathroom vanity-as they seem to be much more vain than their counterparts Barbie-in fact, I have found some great pieces of furniture but GASP! They are "hers" (The Barbie one I speak of).

I can't say anything more to the positive that hasn't already been said, but if you are envisioning your girl playing for hours and becoming the next interior designer on HGTV, you're in for a slight let down-hopefully if you read this you can get some supplemental pieces to offset any disappoinment!
great addition to a bratz collection - Reviewed on 2008-01-20

Bought this for my daughter for christmas. She absolutely loves it. The overhead lights give the mansion a nice glow. This was a great addition to her collection of Bratz. Cloe and Yasmin don't live anywhere else but the Movie Mansion now. The only problem I could see with the entire product was the Palm tree doesn't really stay together very well, but otherwise a great toy.

After reading the many poor reviews for the Barbie Dream House I decided to give the Bratz Mansion a shot. Other than the many decals the set up is VERY easy. My daughter is 8 and loves the indoor lights and dance floor. She plugs her MP3 player in to the dance floor without my help and has a blast!!
