My grandson loved the hat, he had one and his brother broke it so we hope this does last. Came quickly thanks

We got this for our 4-yr-old to replace a flimsy plastic fireman hat that he'd gotten for free from the fire station (that one had quickly cracked). This hat is made of rigid plastic that is quite strong. It's been stepped on, sat on, and still looks as good as new. It has a plastic strap inside to adjust to a wide range of head sizes - if we make it as small as possible, it fits my 16-month-old nicely; it fits my 4-yr-old on one of the middle notches on the strap, so there's lots of growing room for many years to come! It is by far his favorite "dress-up" item. Every preschooler loves to wear a bright red fire fighter hat!!

(just a note: we got ours at a local toy store for around $5. I'm surprised Amazon is charging more)
