I do NOT have sensitive skin. I have used an epilator for over 10 years so my hair is fine, and sparse. I used this product 4 days ago, initially I was pleased with the exfoliation benefit of it, although it did not make my legs as smooth as I felt it should have.

I was satisfied knowing that even though my legs were not smooth, I did get a good exfoliation. However, you have to think, this is not like waxing, it is only 'sanding' the hair down to the surface level of the skin. So you are not going to get any longer between shaving than you would with a razor. It is just not possible. If it took it past skin level, maybe, but this product doesnt.

NOW....FOR THE ABSOLUTE WORST PART....My legs have been itching for 3 days straight. I'm talking the kind of itching that makes you want to pour acid on your legs to make it stop. I have NEVER had this reaction to anything before. It is terrible, and I have already thrown this product in the trash. I can not sleep at night because it itches sooooooooo much. I will never use this again, and if I could give this product zero stars, I certainly would.

I bought this product a while ago, and I was able to use it like 2 times. It burned my skin and it was red for days. I wouldn't recommend this product for people with sensitive skin.

This is the best appliance I have ever owned, and it appears that Conair no longer makes them (not on their website). I recommend purchasing from this vendor and getting plenty of the disc refills (also no longer on Conair's website). Legs are smooth as glass and there is NO regrowth for at least a week. I used to shave my legs every day, but no more. Love it. I'm ordering another in case my old one "dies."

The conair hair removal system is nothing less than AMAZING! I have no idea why everybody isn't using it! Not only does it remove all the hair, but it also does a great job exfoliating! It takes A LOT less time to get all the hair off, and the smoothness lasts a lot longer! I don't see why every woman isn't using it! I highly recommend it!

I believe this product can be very good if you have tough skin and good circulation. I have super sensitive skin - turns red just by touching it with my hand. My hair is very sparse, yet thick and coarse at the same time. I was unable to use this product properly (meaning until all the hair was sanded off) because it was stinging me. I barely used it on my legs and the next week was awful. My legs were itching like crazy to the point I was taking off skin while scratching. No amount of aloe, lotion or cortisone cream helped. My legs are now peeling and are very dry. I have been moistening them twice a day and will never use this product again. It was not for me and I feel if I were to use this long term that my skin would start to harden/callous. However, I can see how it would be great for others as long as it is not used often and that is the only reason I gave it 2 stars.
