Bosch PS40 is just okay - Reviewed on 2008-12-17

I bought the PS40 and recently used in for a couple of kitchen remodels. It did an adequate job but I needed to use my 14.4v Dewalt impact driver to set longer screws through the cabinet frame and drywall into the studs. The PS40 did fine with shorter screws. I recently used the Milwaukee M12 impact driver and it has noticeable more torque. I would definitely buy the M12 over the PS40 if I had to do it all over again.
The best little cordless power tool! - Reviewed on 2008-11-16

Everyone at work has an impact driver, diverse in brands, I chose the Bosch 10.8 impactor, because I already have the 10.8 adjustable driver(not the pocket driver that looks similar to the impactor). It uses the same battery, and it's small. I have shoulder and elbow issues, so when I need to do anything overhead, it's a bonus, because it's light and I can use my long extension bits to also help with hard to get to places. Like any battery though, they like to be warm, so if it is cold at night and I leave them in my vehicle, they don't like to get used. So I just let them warm up and they are just like when I started with them freshly charged. I highly recommend it, especially for the odd jobs and I wouldn't use it to put down a big deck, save that for the regular drivers.

I've been looking for an electrical screwdriver for some time. I was willing to pay more in order to buy something that would last longer. So I bought this PS40. I don't have it for a long time, but I am very happy with it. Around the house is everithing I need. I also bought a set of bits/drills/.. (Bosch CC... something, I forgot what is was). Together they are perfect.
Fantastic tool (but don't get the "Clik-lock" things - Reviewed on 2008-11-02

Terrific tool, love it.

But Amazon suggests you get the Bosch Clik-Lock set along with this. However, that does not fit this tool at all. They SHOULD correct this error.

I kept the clik-lock set, because it's nice and I can use it in another cordless drill I have -- just not in these Li-on Bosch drivers.
