The title of this CD truly lives up to its name, it really is the best damn thing, in this case, the best damn disk. All Avril Lavigne fans should enjoy this 3rd installment of Avril's recording CD's. It rocks hard and has plenty of what Avril fans would hope for. Avril Lavigne is a real talent and true musician/writer, and it shows on this disk.

Avril is one of my all time favorites... but in this album she shows she has grown up and run out of juice.... the songs lack spark and inspiration and the arrangements are too "normal" to attract any particular interest. I predict she'll fade out from this point on....

If you are a huge avril fan, you will enjoy this. It is nothing new for her music career, but all the songs are awsome. My favorite is the title track "the best damn thing" it is the type that should have been released as a single during the summer of 2007. I should also say that there is a clean and parental advisory version of the album. That's right avril got a quite bit of cursing in it. She cusses in Girlfriend,I can do better,I dont have to try, Everything back but you.

i love her attitude. every song is awesome. i've seen some people give this a bad review but this chick is amazing. such a good cd. and this is coming from a metalhead (korn, mudvayne, in flames, deathstars, all that remains are some of the bands i listen 2)

The DVD is a cool insight to the recording of the album. I love this CD. Makes me think of Linkin Park meets Hannah Montana with a dash of Joan Jett. I'm an older guy into classic rock and metal but this is really good, really fun music. Avril is an excellent singer, producer, and songwriter. My favorite tracks include: Girlfriend, I Can Do Better, Runaway, Best D... Thing, When You're Gone, Hot, Innocence.
